    Just as well you have opted for a single chainring up front. With that tyre/seat tube clearance you're likely to have real problems fitting a band-on front mech.

    Anyhow - just my two pennies worth. Not meant as any form of criticism of what has been an exemplary thread. Kudos to you for attempting and carrying off a "real" self build that most of us can only aspire to.

    I would suggest he's proved the skill set for a braze on anyway if he wanted :wink:

    Looks amazing, just finished my first fillet brazed MTB frame a month or so ago, think you are very brave not using a jig but i guess thats easier with lugs.
