Wiggo looked happy with that derny race :D
  • ^More his derny rider than the actual race...

In other news, 6 days of back-to-back Carlton is not a nice prospect :-(

Cheers for this thread - watched a couple of the earlier ones while I was fitting my mudguards today, great event :)

They just need to do a Manchester 6 day as well so I can go every night!

BTW... I though Cameron Myer looked in very good form. Not sure what the issues with leaving Qhubeka were but would be a shame to not return to a pro career.

discussed at length on the rexent cycling podcast...

It'll happen, there's an organiser working on it already. The hard part is having the £ to put it on, you need millions.

The other thing is, the London events will always attract more corporate hospitality and ticket sales because the spectators are less 'hardcore' cycling fans generally. Hipsters and bankers ;)

    Sweet :D

I think there would be good attendance in Manchester - it's generally good at Revolution isn't it?

Manchester is hardly short on hipsters!! Not so many bankers though...

Another great evening tonight in the velodrome
  • I'm really going to miss this, next week.
    Loving it.

    No can do.
Looking at maybe going to Apeldoorn, a couple of days before.
Belgium on the 28th. (not cycling related)

Wow, watching a little late. Missed hand sling was the difference in the end, wouldn't have got on lap terms.

However, should they have let them get the lap before one of the sprint laps as the points would have been different then...
  • That missed hand-sling will eat away at Cav, you know how he is

    Well, revenge in Gent perhaps!

    Absolutely awesome atmosphere

Fantastic battle throughout the entire 6 days between the Kettle and De Pauw, and Cav and Brad, and Meyer and Scotson

Archibald was a cannibal. Admittedly no Trott, Hammer or D'Hoore present to give her tougher competition (the field was filled out with a couple of 17 yos and a Masters), but she just won at will. Apologies for the slight-out-of-focus shot but I like her steely gaze...

He he, I keep well away from the top of the banking. Whoever dropped that, must have wanted the ground to open up. The shame.
  • Have they learnt how to sell alcohol yet?

I got so frustrated with waiting 30 mins to buy an overpriced beer that I haven't been to LV velodrome in ages.

Queuing time was negligible. I mean, really.
