Sorry, sharing from Google Photos, which seems to work fine for some people and not for others with no rhyme or reason.Charlie_Croker said:

It really does have a bit of a sci-fi, almost cartoon look to it. Is that straight from camera or have you done some editing?0

I tweaked the black point as it was a touch over-exposed but otherwise straight from my phone.Pross said:It really does have a bit of a sci-fi, almost cartoon look to it. Is that straight from camera or have you done some editing?

Half term activity constrained by being a Snotville resident. Suspect it's probably covid, but keeping away from people anyway, even if I have got out for fresh air. I was amused by the leaf perfectly suspended by gossamer.

Not the most original shot. It might be lacking in drama, but the weather and sea colour/clarity was a treat to see this time of year.
Take it easy and GWS* Brian.
*Get well soon. Not goes without saying, game winning shot, Gulf War Syndrome… Quicker to just type these things out… laugh out loud.

BR seems to be compressing files heavily. The original (linked in original format) decreases from 9.6mb to 416kb-brutal.0

Couldn't be bothered with big things this morning, so made do with little things dying and thus giving life to littler things.

Really like the middle one, it's captured the stages of the leaf decaying really nicely.0

It's a spot where I look out for contre jour shots in the morning if the sun comes out.0 -
This little fungus was being awkward, hiding next to a stream, in near darkness. Didn’t have a tripod, so steady hands and a fast lens were needed.

This caught my eye sitting on someone's garden wall amongst a whole line of other bits and bobs. It's not mine, honest.

I've filled up the next part of my half term break (after the stay at Snotsville) with a three-day residential with youth musicians on Dartmoor. I took a camera.

Having got fed up with my Google Photos randomly vanishing I've signed up for a Flickr account. What's the best way to share on here from there?1985 Mercian King of Mercia - work in progress (Hah! Who am I kidding?)

Second screenshot - Select Embed and choose you file size. Copy & paste.
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.Veronese68 wrote:PB is the most sensible person on here.0 -

Thanks. Hmm, don't think there's an embed option on the Android app.pblakeney said:

These are the options I have. Copy URL just gives the flic.kr short link, which doesn't work.

Does save give you anything?0

Looks like 'download' to me.Pross said:Does save give you anything?
Annoying when apps are a PITA compared with desktop browser versions (e.g. Google Sheets). Though, TBH, I tend to do photos on the desktop, as I don't trust my phone to be honest about colours, and I like to see the photos in large format before releasing them into the wild.0 -
I’ve always struggled with the Flickr app, I tend to upload to the website and work from that but it’s obviously a less instant process.0
-
Just checked and you can only embed from desktop.0

Same here. My phone is purely a messenger/water carrier and occasional back up camera.Pross said:I’ve always struggled with the Flickr app, I tend to upload to the website and work from that but it’s obviously a less instant process.
