It really does have a bit of a sci-fi, almost cartoon look to it. Is that straight from camera or have you done some editing?

I tweaked the black point as it was a touch over-exposed but otherwise straight from my phone.

Not the most original shot. It might be lacking in drama, but the weather and sea colour/clarity was a treat to see this time of year.

Take it easy and GWS* Brian.

*Get well soon. Not goes without saying, game winning shot, Gulf War Syndrome… Quicker to just type these things out… laugh out loud.

BR seems to be compressing files heavily. The original (linked in original format) decreases from 9.6mb to 416kb-brutal.

Couldn't be bothered with big things this morning, so made do with little things dying and thus giving life to littler things.

Really like the middle one, it's captured the stages of the leaf decaying really nicely.

It's a spot where I look out for contre jour shots in the morning if the sun comes out.

This caught my eye sitting on someone's garden wall amongst a whole line of other bits and bobs. It's not mine, honest.

I've filled up the next part of my half term break (after the stay at Snotsville) with a three-day residential with youth musicians on Dartmoor. I took a camera.

Having got fed up with my Google Photos randomly vanishing I've signed up for a Flickr account. What's the best way to share on here from there?

First screenshot - Click on the curved arrow to share.
Second screenshot - Select Embed and choose you file size. Copy & paste.

The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

Thanks. Hmm, don't think there's an embed option on the Android app.

These are the options I have. Copy URL just gives the flic.kr short link, which doesn't work.

    Looks like 'download' to me.

Annoying when apps are a PITA compared with desktop browser versions (e.g. Google Sheets). Though, TBH, I tend to do photos on the desktop, as I don't trust my phone to be honest about colours, and I like to see the photos in large format before releasing them into the wild.

I’ve always struggled with the Flickr app, I tend to upload to the website and work from that but it’s obviously a less instant process.

...and @rjsterry starts to regret his impulsiveness in subscribing to Flickr...

Same here. My phone is purely a messenger/water carrier and occasional back up camera.
All my real work is done on the laptop.
