Amidst all the crap we fill this forum with, there is one man out there, day in, day out: training. And winning Olympic medals.

The word "awesome" is badly overused, but I really think it applies here.

    Fantastic Colin, well done!

(I was about to ask a question about your prosthetic, when I realised I'd confused your right leg with a compression sock on with your prosthetic...)

Nope - that leg has a carbon brace to the knee, wrapped in black tape and a SMART overshoe! (Spinal injury that caused me to lose my left leg also took all the muscle not he right side below the knee).

Ah, sorry to hear that. To begin with I thought you had a new cycling prosthetic with a "foot" on as opposed to the straight prosthetic with a cleat attached that I'd seen before, then I realised I was looking at the wrong leg.

Fantastic performance yesterday. Are you still keeping the medal about your person at all times?

Well, I'm still in bed, so not yet!

Still have a road race to do on Friday and training today!
