Yes sensibly they put the smaller ones towards the end.

Henao still looked like he was struggling with it. Kiry was at the t'other end, no small guy!

I'm foreseeing the commissaire panel issuing Froomey a 5min time penalty for use of a glass bottle whilst on the bike, as per UCI regulations.

It;'s the only way a Frenchman is going to win the Tour, anyway. :)

I can't have a thread without the prerequisite cartography.

Has yellow jersey ever had a bad tumble on the final stage?
And then failed to complete the race?

Well it's a 10 second penalty for being pushed by a team mate and he was getting pushed by all 8. I'm sure they could make the penalty exponential.

The start of the final stage is always interesting to see who chats with who. Yates and Kreuziger looking quite friendly.

What is the estimated finish time this afternoon ?

I have to leave at 6 to be there for 6:30 and I think that going to be the where and when of it.

Some interesting memories of Froome from Baden Cooke in the commentary. To the latter’s amusement, Froome called himself a Grand Tour rider even back in 2008 on Barloworld.
