Froome - "Best stage racer of his generation", according to Ned Boulting. Did he say that just to wind up Frenchie?

    Incredible bike handling by Froome.

    A worthy champion.

Looking like he might actually get a medal in Rio.

Dumoulin would probably have preferred a shower than hours in the hot seat.

I don't know, but that bloody wound me up. I love Froome, but he's going to have to win a couple of the other GTs before we can call him that.
It's only a bit of sport, Mun. Relax and enjoy the racing.

Froome obviously impressive but on the flat TTs I do wonder if the best of the best (technology aside) at the moment are a notch down from a few years back with FabC, Wiggins and Martin.

I'd rather see Yates make it, on the basis I would imagine it would mean more to him (I doubt they both can but it also depends how Mollema and Yates perform of course).

The kicker is that if it wasn't for that puncture on stage 2 Porte would be on the podium right now.

I'd be happy seeing both Yates and Porte there actually, but yes it's going to be an interesting fight to see who actually makes it. I doubt Mollema will give up easily!

I'd like them all to be on the podium. Hmmmm decisions. :x

The whole stage is broadcast tomorrow and on Saturday. This will probably lead to people say it's all really boring.

Kudos to Mollema for pulling that out after looking quite demoralised yesterday. Bit too much youthful exhuberance from Yates, but didn't pay too heavily and secured that white jersey I think.
