Given the abuse that Froome gets when he does detonate the field with a supreme climb, is it any wonder that he doesn't feel the need to do more than is absolutely necessary to take the win?

Froome 13th. He's not afraid to be in the melee of a sprint is he? He's currently ranked higher in the green jersey than he is in the polka dot.

Cav was boxed in, really thought at one point he was going to have a crack but just 3 or 4 riders too far back and sat up at 150m, shame, a Cav win today would have being epic.

Currently the top 57 have the same time. Quintana was 28th.

Nothing. It looks like all the GC guys made the front group.

Doh!! Daft me. There were never 57 in that group sprint though. Was it given at 3km instead?

Get away with you, CK is always on the ball  It is amazing how when the tators have the same feed as we do that they miss some of the glaringly obvious stuff.
There are so few proper commentators in professional/televised sport these days, I invariably put the radio on for most including my favoured rugby league but cycling is a whole different ball game in those final few seconds to describe.

Geoffrey Boycott - although he is mostly on radio.

Can't think of any in football. I can only think of candidates for the award of least insightful pundit.

I didn't see the TV pics but it looks like Kristoff is going for the next white line here, just setting up his lunge?

Yes, to make himself fit in by looking as vanilla and dull as possible. Don't be soft, he can look however he likes, he comes across as far more fun loving and daft than most, and that's refreshing.

Peter Sagan has ridden 100 Tour de France stages.

He's finished in the top 10 on 51 of them, not including TTT's

    Wow. Seriously impressive.
It's a little like wrestling a gorilla. You don't quit when you're tired. You quit when the gorilla is tired.

I think it is more than that. I think he hasn't worn it on 19 stages (using Wiki on a mobile). No idea about TTTs. Impressively there were only 5 stages between 2012-2014. He's slipped up this year and last!

A nice stat would be to add on the times he wasn't in green but was in yellow or white.
