Cancellara genuinely believes that the Tour is visiting Bern with cobblestones at the finish as a tribute to him.

I love him, but he is so up his own bottom.

I see that Etixx have started their lead out too early again.
I think perhaps Etixx have collectively been put on 'the naughty step' for not having bagged a stage yet.

If it doesn't work, and plan B (Kittel) fails, I'm guessing that they will all be sent to bed early with no supper.
    Did you miss stage 4?

I described the stage as such to my office, so I too must be up Cancellara's arse!!

There can't be much room up there for anyone else TBH, given how big his head is!

Looks pretty quiet. Maybe The Swiss don't rate this years tour either.

The last week should hopefully be better. I'm barely above a grade of 2 out of 10 for this Tour as a whole so far. Its been absolutely dreadful.

You're looking at the wrong end of the race. Lars is in a solid 2nd place where it counts.

Generous! Can i ask what warranted the 2 points? Could it be that they came from 'dullest' team Sky/Froome and 'finished' Cavendish?

Poor route (I have no words for the first 8 stages - even the riders complained how dull it was..), unfortunate weather, Alberto's crash, Movistar going for team GC instead of actually trying to win something important, Froome above all, Sky above all..

Oops. Absolutely correct. Guess it didn't register because Cav and Sagan have been so dominant

Froome is the only one of the GC guys who has done anything. Attacked solo to win a stage and made the big move on Ventoux.

Oh, absolutely. I'm not having a go at Froome for being good. Just hasn't helped the quality of the race that the competition has been so nonexisting. But it's not even as Froome has murdered them, is it. We've hardly seen him (and the others) climb.
