Ah, now I get it. does this mean then that you can run at any stage of the race and not get penalised?

Here's of light relief for anyone who thinks there's too much of this tarmac related malarkey...this girl has balls so to say.

Can we tell Blakeney that nothing's happening, or will that give it away?

Yes, but you must cross the line with a bicycle - any bicycle.

Blimey. One of the podiums ladies is tall! Okay, she has heels, but she's still level with the rider standing on the podium.

As long as you are not the one laying your skin down all over the tarmac. Millar on ITV4 annoyed the fark out of me by banging on about Froome wanting his own bike back when it was quite clear a team car wasn't going to be near anytime soon.

^ I prefer Kirby's commentary on Eurosport even though the Po facers don't, generally.

Froome has had to battle and run and crash for this one. Maybe he will finally be endeared to the French.

Yes well I'd not wish for crashes but it did add a lot of drama.

Today could be similar as lots of big descents and storms forecast. Also last chance for a lot of the teams to salvage anything.
