    Still one of my favourite threads ever. There should be a filter on any BR thread about leg strength that doesn't allow you to contribute to a new thread until you've read that one... although some people's post count would be much lower as a result...

    Is it just not down to eating more at the end of good ride? It can't just be about the output, the input counts too, yet nothing is ever mentioned. Just anaerobic blah, threshold blah etc. Energy minus energy out equals something had to give.

    ...and warm up and stretching and cool down and overall diet, fags smoked, alcohol intake, sex (within in the last 3 years), tyre pressure, weight of helmet (or not as the heretics like me)...
