National Championships 2016 *spoilers*
So these are this weekend right? At least for the northern hemisphere... TT on Thursday and RR on Sunday.
British circuit is in Stockton-on-Tees and looks like a fairly flat circuit ending in a sprint finish. Armistead and Cavendish are both riding. Kennaugh isn't defending.
No idea what the routes/line ups are like for the rest of the countries...

Bertie pulled out of Spanish champs cos he is poorly (more specifically 'unspecified health reasons' which sounds like a phrase that would generate pages of posts at the Clinic if he wore a Rapha black jumper with a blue stripe on it)0

amazes me most countries Britain included seem to have less riders at their nat TT champs than you get at an average club 100

What's a DC tester?0 -
Dual carriageway time triallists - a uniquely British thing. Over here it's all about chasing a fast time on a fast course. Even pretty average club riders will travel the country and dice with death amongst HGVs on what are effectively motorways just to get a PB in the UK.0

I inadvertently took a wrong turning onto the A55 a couple of years and can confirm I don't intend ever doing that again0

Excellent.
Looks as if the men's race will just about be over by the time they finish these highlights.
Plus we know their result."Science is a tool for cheaters". An anonymous French PE teacher.0 -
