e main GC guys are on training mode atm. if they can win Dauphine they will take it but will not rmpty themselves everyday for it

Froome seems to really want this whereas Contador has been playing down his chances or even his desire really. Bluffs or not? I guess we'll know come the TdF but we know that it's easier take take form from the Dauphine than find it in the next few weeks

well done Thibaut - something not right the first few days - going full bore in the Dauphin is not always a good thing for the big prize

Contador has been his usual self - playing down his chances whilst trying his hardest. If he had it in him to stick with Froome he would do - or are we not believing his "every time I race it's to win / 2nd is the first loser" schtick this week?

Froome and Sky had to work bloody hard yday. Great to see Henao riding so strongly, hope he makes the Tour.

Bardet - Peanut shenanigans always fun. Would have been happy to see either of them take the win.
