Decent ride from Bardet and Pinot.

    Held off some heavy hitting.

I climbed this about 10 years ago. I don't remember any of it, these pictures don't look familiar at all.

Long way to go Bardet, and I wouldn't discount Pinot because he didn't follow the wheel quite yet.. He's not as explosive and it's 10km to go...

I was disappointed not to see Steve Cummings sneak up behind them and mug them.

Froome maybe not feeling 100% today then? Seemed an unusual way for him to ride.

Silly attack from Bardet at around 3km to go. His crash possibly costing him given the form he's shown since.

It's a good day when you are not at your best, but you increase your overall lead.
Bardet took the wrong option in trying for the stage over GC.
67 seconds and 6 bonus seconds, but it could have been 10 seconds more.
Would have been right up Froome's GC rear.

Froome isn't bad at them either - he did pretty well at Huy in the Tour last year!

Porte and Bardet on 21" from Froome.

Porte and Bardet on 21" from Froome.

Could have got second on both counts, but with much less angst and sour emotions.

    As someone said elsewhere.
It was a drag Queen stage. 8)

Contador should attack now to dislodge the skybots then sit on the Kenyans wheel while he chases bardet.
2 things wrong with that...he can't attack he is on the limit and he won't be able to hold froome's wheel
Sad but true. As I said some time ago, the Kenyan has this in the bag.

Any chance we could cut out all this "Skybot" and "The Kenyan" guff? It doesn't mark you out as clever, knowledgeable or funny; it's just a bit pathetic and annoying.

    nice french civil war :)

Froome in control, Contador was looking so bad but somehow managed to stay in contact, pure will.

let's not forget the main GC guys are on training mode atm. if they can win Dauphine they will take it but will not rmpty themselves everyday for it.
