So... where do we go from here? What happens if CADF and the Univ of Sheffield paper findings come to different conclusions?

Who knows, but the anti-Sky brigade are out in force already, led by the wonderful Ross Tucker.

Was the paper published? That would be an interesting read...

No study published yet. Once they went that route they should have got it out asap. But it's an academic paper and takes a while etc etc

No comment on the content, but just wanted to say that the thread title is immense, TWH. Hat.

Ok, would be an interesting follow-up to that chapter in The Sports Gene on altitude adaption...

As usual his complaint is not being given the information himself so he can pass judgement. (He already has done but needs to keep up the illusion of science by 'considering' evidence). Still he'll be phoning up the usual media outlets looking for another platform for his ego

The problem is that a study on a single individual isn't worth much so they'll need other subjects.

I don't see why not, if he's cleared. It's not like this will have any effect whatsoever on whether people think Sky dope or not, it'll just cause a few raging hard-ons in the Twatterati.

Bear in mind that this is only at the 'asking for relevant information stage', not an actual prosecution
Plenty of cases we never hear about get to this stage and no further (more than half)

Don't see why there should be any reason Sky don't stand by him. Regardless of whether Henao has done anything, they (he and Sky) sat out races voluntarily and said publicly why they were doing so. Obvs if he gets an actual suspension out of this then they'll get rid, but we're nowhere near that yet.

Why? By their own comment they were expecting this and it appears that the authorities are only now picking up on an issue Sky identified themselves 2 years ago. Their own research suggests there's a valid reason and unless a full investigation follows and finds to the contrary there's no reason why they shouldn't continue to back him. Surely if they thought there was anything genuinely suspicious in their own findings they'd have got rid of him at that time?
  • Quite possibly the best thread title I have ever read. Chapeau Sir. Chapeau.

Anyhow, I hope his slot opens up, so Sky can sign Sergey Firsanov. 8)

    Oh that song.

But I have no idea who Hank is as I've never seen TLSS. In fact I have no idea who Larry Sanders is.

    Currently he looks somewhat dead.
