Any love for this 6 day Pyranean race among the Spring Classics?

No cobbles, no sprinters, no one day specialists, and a half decent start list...what's not to like?

I can't wait. Looks like a tough course, a great startlist too.

    Bring it on!

(Got a few of My Men racing too)

The lack of foliage this time of year makes for some spectacular aerial shots, particularly on the descent.
Always good to see a breakaway just make it..

Can you call it a breakaway if one or two jump 10km from the line?

Anyone got a live feed? none of the ones on Steephill seem to work for me.

No I watched it. Landa lives very near to that climb so he'll know how to ride well.

I watched it live ... Quite reasonable racing but the director and ES commentators done their best to make it seem a bit less interesting than it was ... Not sure if Contador/Quintana done a good job of not letting the gap get too big or if everyone was on their limit (likely a bit of both).

Nice win for Landa in his new colours and Jumbo have been putting on a good show last few races (as RR said above as I was typing this).
Life is unfair, kill yourself or get over it.

Interesting... it wasn't a factor that I looked at it when examining the schedule this year, maybe we can revise next year?

It's a nice idea, but I'm not sure finding out the Eurosport schedule is all that easy. Plus it would lead to Tirreno Adriatico usurping Paris-Nice which wouldn't go down all that well with some of the forum faithful.

Note, it was not meant as a criticism of PTP organisation.

Apparently it is Adam Yates in the break. I relied on the TV graphic. Is it that hard to convert a number into a name?
