    Morning wrong uns,

Tis Sunday, your last day of rest before you're back to work, make the most of it.

Pig based foods was awesome though the eggs are causing a bit of wind!

Today should see the water butt project reach an important stage then it's just a bit of fence panelling to hide them from view.
Not impressed with the mighty cobblers yesterday but they'll hopefully keep to their promise of mid table mediocrity! MOTD replay is on in a bit so I'll give it a watch.

Got a call this morning to say that my old man has had a stroke and has been taken to hospital - not good at his age. Headed up North very shortly.

Thanks mate, unfortunately he's in a real state. Lucky to be alive really and will ne I'm hospital for a long time. Am headed back down South tomorrow as there not a load more I can do after dropping some of his stuff off at the hospital.

    Total bummer.

    Back to Work Monday

    Morning Losers!

Sorry to hear the bad news Stevo. How old's the old man? It can be surprising what some old folk can bounce back from.

Today, I'm at work by myself, and I'm really looking forward to it! Headphones on, crack on with things and do it all at my own pace. Well, that is until 2pm when my retard minion turns up. I only have to endure 2 hours though...

After that, it's a shopping night, maybe a run, and an early night I recon.

This, very much this after a good weekend. Only a 3 day week for me at least. Hope Monday is as painless as can be for you all.

No reaction today when I went in. Sadly there's not much bouncing at 91when you've had a massive stroke :(

Back to work tomorrow, will probably be a bit of light relief after the last two days. Think I'll pedal in and wake myself up.

    Tuesday

Yeah a long weekend is getting closer

Working locally today and have left a bike there about 3 weeks ago, so I'm going to run there. The issue being it's 11 miles and I need all of my work clothes, laptop and my cycling stuff - going to be a heavy rucksack!

Later if I've got energy is a ride with a pal

You'd be surprised, my Gran got to 94 after we all lost count of how many heart attacks and strokes she had. The little battleaxe kept stunning doctors! They don't make 'em like they used to!

    Morning Losers!

I've woken up with painful sinuses, so I imagine todays going to be a bad day. Retard minion annoyed the life out of me yesterday, sod that.
I need to get over to Bury for a meeting at 5pm tonight, so may need to leave work a little earlier than 4pm, this means I get away from retard minion so sounds good to me.

I'm having porridge with honey. It's quite awesome.

Good morn-ring to you all. Been off here for 'months'. Sorry. Back now. Need to get back on on the bike now that the winter is over and the sun has returned.

    Morning felchers,
Nice and sunny out this morning, tad fresh though. Managed to wobble in to work this morning as I need to drive in tomorrow. Not a huge amount going on here, mostly avoiding customers. Just spoke to the MD about applying for the marketing manager's job as I fancy a change. He laughed and said I'd be bored stupid in a week. At least they know I fancy a change and are threatening to do something about it.

    Afternoon fake passport purchasers,

Haven't felt on top of my game today, something to do with a glass or two last evening! Still managed to give the car a decent wash and brush up. Have parked it away from where the swallows roost so will hopefully have a shiny car free of bird shyte!

I do quite a bit of marketing for one of the companies I have dealings with. If you're bored in a marketing managers job, you're not doing marketing properly, meaning there's a huge opportunity for change!

    Wednesday
Very positive meeting last night (nothing job related) so feeling better today. That said, my cold is getting worse, and this is not good. Not good at all.

I want 4pm to come so I can get home and just stay warm!

    Morning foodfishes,

Another lovely day here in France which means lots of gardening related tasks in the hope of keeping the bottom feeder happy...........slim chance of that!
Got people round later for nibbles and boozes which will not be too much boozes as I've not really recovered from Monday night yet!

    Toodles.

Probably says about as much about me as it does the nature of marketing in this place. A lot of it is updating catalogues with small changes over longish periods of time. Keeping things on track over long periods of time and hitting deadlines that may be 6 months down the road. The bean counters like to have a lot of reporting and figures on spread sheets as well.
Anyway, happy damned Friday all you angry pirates,
Well it's Friday for me as I'm off tomorrow. Seeing as it's Fryday on a Wednesday I'm going to the cafe shortly for some dead pig. Later I will be going to the pub for Friday and also for Wednesday. Woohoo!!!

Don't think I will avoid it tonight. Another long day mopping up the remains of year end and starting objective setting for minions for this year. The joys.

@V68 - good luck with the marketing job if you decide to go for it. I always thought it was meant to be quite interesting, but then again my own job sets a pretty low bar on that front :)

    It's Thuuuursdaaaaayyyyyy!

    Morning Losers!

It's Maundy Thursday to be exact, so start repenting all you sinners!

Today I just have to survive until 4pm, well, 3:45, and then I'm done for the long weekend. My minion is driving me up the wall. I really hope the job I'm applying for comes through as I've had enough of this place.

After work, I'm heading over to Bury for the weekend. My cold isn't going at all, which isn't good as I'm meant to be singing a solo tomorrow afternoon, and I need the money, but if I can't sing.... :/

Today didn't feel like the last day of a 3 day week. Need fermented apple juice when I get home.

Seriously considering headed North overnight to avoid the bank holiday madness.

Think we should start a campaign to have your MIL move closer to you, just think how good it would be!

    Morning fake news believers,

More outside based graft today though will be covered up as got a bit too much sun yesterday. Mates coming round tonight for foods and boozes so all bodes well for tomorrow's hangover!

    Morning Losers!

Today I have to pretend that I haven't got a cold by singing a solo in a concert. I need the money, so I really have to do a good convincing role.

    Evening all,
I've had a pretty good Friday, successfully avoided doing the bathroom floor again, done a few other odd jobs to maintain brownie points. Laced up the new front wheel last night, might do the rear tonight but more beer might dissuade me.

Could have been better in quite quite few ways but I'm trying not to dwell on that too much now I back home with a cider in my hand. Need sleep as I didnt get to bed till 4am this morning!

    Happy Saturday peeps,

Few beers and pizza with chums last night, had a wee game of table tennis which led to our trip out this morning to help them buy a table tennis table.

    More socialising tonight!
