    Evening Toolbags,

Fairly lazy day despite having to help cook lunch but were making up for that by having take away pizza tonight from some little place where they actually sound Italian. Tomorrow is likely to be busy unfortunately...

    Back to Work Monday

    Morning Losers!

As it's April, the heating is off. Fark is chilly in here this morning! I will persevere though, I need lower bills if I can help it.

Today I am hoping will be an easy and relaxed day as I really cba with all the running about. Well, with anything to be honest.

Tonight I'll be going shopping, maybe a run, we'll see.

It was bloody misty this morning riding in. But now nice and warm for the ride back.

In between has been a fair bit of work including sorting the gory legal stuff on my big reorg. I think I've earned a cold cider when I get home :)

    Tuesday

    Morning Losers!

Monday was quiet at work, which I was glad for. I'm starting the process of getting my minions a pay-rise. No idea if they'll get it (knowing my workplace, HIGHLY unlikely!) but thought I should look into it. Plus, it increases my own chances of a pay-rise

Today, more of the same I think. I might sneak my book into work to see if I can find a nice quiet corner to chill out in. After work, I'm heading over to Bury for pizza night with my dog-walking friend.

they joys of early spring, where you get up early, grab a bike, head off in to the darkness of a grey rainy dawn .... get half way to work and realise you don't have any lights ...ah, I forgot that its dark if you leave earlier !

Working from home as the wife needs my car as hers isn't fixed till later

She dragged me to the pub last night whilst the kids were at yuff club, in which I convinced her we weren't up to much so I might as well enter the Telford toothpaste on Sunday

    Morning trench dwellers,
Far too busy for my liking yesterday, hopefully a bit calmer today. Slight Thursday morning hangover is making it's presence felt today as I was out for beer and curry last night. This isn't good as it's only Tuesday so my body clock is confused. The beer and curry was good as much bollox was spouted and it was all free as we charged it to expenses as we were entertaining one of the yanks that has come over. You should all be very grateful you aren't sharing an office with me today.
TLW, why is it called toothpaste? Seems like an odd name for a ride.

    Morning flatulents,

Telford toothpaste sounds quite rude, hope I don't get any in my mouth!

Lovely day in deepest darkest France today which means outdoorsy diy based stuff after a trip out for a ping pong table as all French holiday rentals must have one by law!

Is this the same law that says you're not allowed to put soap in said holiday rentals?

    Afternoon Slackers,

Today is more tax dodging work while Les Minions get on with reporting last years carnage :) Just stuffing my face and waiting until it's late enough in the Kingdom of Far Far Away to send them an email and not get a reply back today. Then back to more financial engineering...

    Wednesday

Damn it's cold this morning! Maybe I should put a jumper on. Nah.

My feckin' iPhone keeps feckin up! The alarm goes off, but it doesn't make a sound! It just lights up. Turn it off and on again and it's fine, however I'm now 20 mins later than normal, and I hate rushing.

Got the details about my next part of an interview process. They're not making this easy!

Just because I don't wash doesn't mean our guests shouldn't!

    Morning workers,

Usual graft going on here today, i just make it look easy.

Found a place that does some of the beers i enjoy getting smashed on yesterday so bought some. There may be beers later!

Afternoon hobos of the Hershey highway,
Another busy morning, not surprising given it's usually our busiest time of year. Managed to wobble in to work on a bicycle today, that was much harder work than it should be, I really need to do more exercise. Today being Wednesday I will of course be going to the pub later to talk bollox and drink brown beer. need to abuse a few more customers first.

    Evening soap dodgers,

Busy day spent torturing numbers so they tell me what I want to hear. Now ahead of the game so left the bean counters to it and am headed home for cider and footy.

Working from home tomorrow means I get a lie in as well :)

    Thursday

    Morning Losers!

I'm looking forward to the weekend as I'm fed up of work. We've had a formal complaint aimed at us, so I'm now having to provide evidence to show that this person is an idiot, and that it's his fault he couldn't get the equipment to work, not ours!

Today I'm learning maths as it turns out in the 17 years since I left school, I've forgotten some 'basic' stuff like ratios and percentages :/

This evening I'm over to Bury to watch a concert of the Black Dyke Band. Go figure. That's their ACTUAL name!

    Hola mother funkers.

Today & tomorrow is my weekend before working 10 days on the bounce. The missus is working evenings so it gives me time for beer, bikes and some rubbish she wants to do to keep her happy.

    I'm not going to ask...

Working from home today, although its half term which means I don't have the house to myself till this afternoon. Work seems to be quiet as everybody is busy crunching year end numbers and were ahead of the game 8) Either that or the minions are skiving...

    Finally Friday!

    Morning Losers!

Well the concert was good last night, though there wasn't anybody black in the band at all. They were all white, middle class type people. I can't guarantee there weren't any dykes in it though.

Today I just have to stay sane until 3:30 and then my weekend begins!

I've had to turn the fire on in the living room as it's feckin' freezing! I'm determined to not have the central heating on as it's April, but I'm struggling!

    Happy damned Fryday,
One of my Wednesday drinking mates turns his heating off by the calendar, he's got lots of money so it's not like he needs to save any he's just tight. He's got one of those wifi heating controller things he can control from his phone. We reckon he turns the heating off when he goes to the pub and his Mrs sits at home with all her clothes on at once.
Going to the pub with the Mrs on the way home tonight, starting the weekend as I would like it to continue. Weather forecast is good so I hope to get out a bit as well.
    Onwards and upwards...

    Morning back door engineers,

Happy two days off for those that live by those rules!

Still really knacked after yesterday, who could have thought cutting grass would be such hard work! Back aches, knees ache at least the beer helps take the pain away.

More graft today i reckon, suns out so that'll help.

Long bike ride to work in the ferkin cold

Work is going mental, so it's going to be a long day. Therefore I need to pedal home quick as it's pub night

About to escape on the bike - finished torturing numbers for now and looks like no work needed this weekend - that counts as a win in my books. So it's the traditional cider to celebrate the end of the week when I get home and bit of dossing in front of the telly.

    Morning hungover people,

Sliced up some bacons yesterday that has been curing all week, it's a little bit fatty in places but tastes amazing. So brekky today is homemade sausage, black pudding, bacons and eggs from our hens!
In other news the weather is grand here so I'll be fettling water butts and strimming around trees and things. Then some beers later.

    I hate you.*

    Morning Losers!

Beautiful day here in Bury. I might go for a walk at some point.

This afternoon I'm off to the football, where Bury take on Bradford, so we'll probably lose, and that pushes us pretty close to the relegation spot, so that would suck. After that, I'm off to my dog-walking friends house for some Paella, and I'm looking forward to that a lot! Afterwards we're off to some concert that her mum's in. That should be...interesting.

    Laters!
