Unfortunately not. Not even a hint of a stiffy joke.

Day went as well as can be expected: tomorrow is back to the big bad real world. And I'm bloody knackered.

    Morning Losers!

Yesterday felt like a busy day, and I know todays going to feel like one. I have giving inductions, however it's the only way I can inform the newbies that basically I own them, and they need to fear me  Of course, I do it in a kind and courteous manner...

Yeah the joys of waiting outside a branch waiting for them to open up - they had better get the kettle on as soon as they open up

Later I could do with doing some exercise

    Afternoon gussets,

Today i have trimmed bushes! Unfortunately i speak from a horticultural perspective! But it meant petrol power tools which is always pleasing.
The car has also been readied for the three new piggy wigs that arrive tomorrow, hoping that a decent tarpaulin and a bag of hay in the back of the car will suffice. The countdown can then begin to when they become bacon.

    Toodles.

    Afternoon all,
Another day that was busier than I'd like. Slow start as we had a meeting at the daughter's school about how things are going, thankfully they agreed with us and it was shorter than I expected. Then i went to work and it all went a bit tits up in the easy gonig day department. All sorted and slipped out early at least. Off to the pub later then for a curry for a mates' birthday.

First day back and more action on the corporate hamster wheel. Mostly interviews and nearly farked up by HR who booked up this afternoons for 4pm but told the prospective minion it was at 2pm. I was none too pleased when I got the call from reception to say he was here 2 hours early.

When I asked the dozy HR gimp wtf she was doing she said 'oh sorry, I'm having a blonde moment'. Too f***ing eight you are.

    Morning Losers!

Well yesterday was a disaster. Retard minion had a day release to go to a wedding, and the lesser-spotted minion that was meant to be in to cover him never showed! As a result, I had no minions, and I was doing inductions all day, I had a 20 minute break and a 10 minute break between 10am and 3pm, and have almost lost my voice. Meh.

    Hopefully today will be easier.

Long day of work planned but at least no commuting after yesterday's 5 miles in over an hour just trying to get to the m6

Thankfully the pub eased the pain

    Morning veggie types,

Pick up our three new piggies today, this will be interesting as they are going in the back of our car! There could be unknown quantities of muck. Will play em some calming music.

  • Just keep thinking of the bacons at the end!

    Friday

    TFI Friday!!!

It's been an odd week. I'm glad it's over. I'm about the point of breaking as retard minion is driving me mad. Luckily it's his last day of days and he moves onto the night shift for about 5 weeks, so I'll only have to see him for 10 minutes.

    Roll on 3:30pm!

    Morning butt cracks,

Our next bacon carriers survived their first night which is a win though they are enjoying spooking the chickens, I'm sure they'll all be friends eventually even if it's only on my breakfast plate!

I'm sure there is stuff to do today but I'll find out when management can be arrissed to tell me.

    Beer later

Very much so. I'm very glad it's Fryday and POETS day today. Busy weekend coming up, but in a good way. The boy is out tonight and is going to a pub that's open late so he can start drinking legally at midnight. Hopefully he won't be too sick to enjoy his birthday tomorrow.

I believe that you can donate blood when you are 18 too - so maybe line that up for him tomorrow and someone can wake up happy after their heart transplant.

He's been giving blood for at least a year already so I suspect that may start at 16, can't remember if we had to sign an authorisation at the time. I can't give blood any more so I'm glad he can.

    Afternoon,
Been a long tiring week but that nap just helped a bit, no idea how long I was out for. Anyway, the weather's still good so the ride home should be ok.

    Happy saturday you hungover lot,

Up early to sort the pigs and chickens, pigs have been named Runty, Patch and Tubs, then breakfast will feature their older sisters.
Not sure what the day then holds so i shall await instruction!

    Wanted more sleep :(

This morning is running kids around and then doing jobs later, with an insert of mountain biking :)

Later is the pub in a nearby village, the current wife has offered to drive and they do Peroni

Does she have large hands and an Adams apple?

    Afternoon Twunts,

It's Stropteens birthday (which she shares with V98) so there is a fair bit of Dad's taxi work involved. At least I'm listening to the footy for a bit.
