Good morning you genital warts you,

Up early as usual, sorted the pigs and chickens and now processing the pigs older sisters into sausages and BLACK PUDDING! Trying the river cottage recipe this time, will let you know how good it was Tkm!

Looks like more garden type maintenance later and a tip trip.

    Toodles.

Do you ever have sex with the pigs? The fit ones that is - not the dogs. You might as well if you are going to kill them.

People have mentioned that it's supposed to be just like the real thing, suppose the pigs will smell a bit better!

    Afternoon all,
Busy day selling bits for old nails, but it keeps me off the streets and a roof over my head. Thursday morning hangover was in evidence this morning, out for a beer tonight as well. Not much else going on here thankfully.

Yay, free drink and food tonight courtesy of some corporate jolly held by people who know I have a budget to spend but don't realise how small it is :) Tomorrow may be a bit fuzzy...

  • Black Pudding-less Friday

    Morning Losers!

No black pudding for me. I may need to sort this out in the next day or so, I'm having withdrawal symptoms!

I have a lesser-spotted minion in with me today. I'm quite excited! Knowing I don't have to constantly leave my seat every 2 minutes is really really pleasing! I can crack on with soldering.

I think I might have black pudding with my fry up today in some attempt to redress the balance. Managed to ride in as the EPO is on ferrying daughter about duty, thankfully the forecast rain didn't materialise and being off duty means I can enjoy fryday in the cafe without have to run off to quickly. Might avoid the pub after 3 nights on the trot, I'm feeling my age today. Roll on the weekend.

It's only binge drinking if you stop. Just ask TLW1!

    Evening Gimps,

Just doing a spot of Dads taxi duty before settling down to a cider or two. The forecast hangover didn't materialise this morning which was a bonus. On the downside Strifey seems grumpy for no apparent reason - so what's new.

    Morning Losers!

Cracking nights sleep and a lovely lie in this morning. Just the way a weekend should start.

I'm going to trim the old beard a bit this morning, do a couple of chores and then head over to Bury with a friend. Should be a fun, tiring day. I've also convinced her to watch a film called Grave of the Fireflies. Yes, I'm a cruel cruel barsteward.

    Morning twunts,

Quiet day here, delivering the brother in law to the airport via a wander around a large lake, taking a pique nique which will include a decent slab of home made pork pie!

    Welcome to the Marie Celeste...

Lots of jobs and procurement of supplies done today, now cooking up a dead sheep based pie to be washed down with cider :)

    Morning Bumders,

As it's sunday i assume you are all in church repenting your sins or kipping in the doorway after a large saturday night!

Anyhoo, animals sorted, bottom feeder back to bed for a lie in so i shall enjoy tv and a pork based breakfast before wood chopping and fire making.

    Morning,
I've really got a hankering to climb a mountain today but I can't see that happening. I'll probably end up taking the boy on a snow dog hunt instead. Either way, I'm getting out the house.

Late start planned as we stayed over at friends was spoiled by mother in law feeling ill, so we got back for the rugrats

Took them out cycling in the woods, now just finishing off some painting before the gp

    Later is the pub

    Evening all,
Had the EPO's nephew over with wife and kids. Went for a walk in Richmond Park after lunch on a deer hunt. Found a couple of big stags making lots of noise which was fun, made sure to keep the kids at a respectable distance. Forgot how tiring traipsing through bracken with a 4 year old on your shoulders is. Recovering with a beer now.

Not a lot doing today for me which was just fine. Could have done with a bit more lip but that's life. Unfortunately its Monday tomorrow!

  • Back to Work Monday - Meh

    Morning Losers!

Yesterday I bought a giant blanket for my bed, and it was an amazing investment. The problem is that my bed got so toasty warm overnight, that getting out just now was like stepping out of a hot plane onto Antarctica! I think it's time to sort the central heating out.

Still no minion today. It's going to be hell.

    Good day you weird uns,

Building shelving to go into the poly tunnel with some of the wood that I've found around this place, some of the wood has required metalwork removing with a grinder and apparently doing it with the wood resting on her freezer is "farking stupid!"

    Still, onwards and upwards.

Attacking your wood with an angle grinder sounds painful.

Dull day made a bit brighter by an adviser accidentally sending me the global restructuring plans for a massive multinational that I have nothing to do with. Apparently their other client wasn't too happy when they saw me on the email. Adviser asked me to delete the email so I waited an hour before replying just to make 'em sweat a bit

Pedal home in the gloom soon...

    Morning Losers!

Still no central heating on in this house... it's more out of laziness than anything else, I cba programming the ancient device. Plus, the system in this house is so rubbish that when the central heating turns on, the hot water makes such a noise, that I can't sleep, so it gets turned off.

Still no minion, work is hell, but the days are going quickly.

That's a bit harsh on slaves. Unfortunately I've just filled my minion quota, but I'll find out soon how much of a kicking she got for that balls up.

Slept well after a good pedal yesterday. Now soaking up the joys of a half empty train ready for the next round of the corporate hamster wheel game.

More working from home today. Unfortunately it means I'm significantly buier than when at work and it's really boring work with only 6 Music and an unwell teenager for company. Need to phone the quacks shortly to try and get an appointment.
    More caffeine is needed.
