    Morning ferkers,

A day of outdoor based menial tasks today for this ferker, grass cutting, pig feeding, fetching stone from our large rubble pile for the contractors working on our renovation! Busy times.

    Beer and bbq later

Happy International Towel Day chaps. Not much going on here, quite busy this morning unfortunately. Hopefully it will get quieter now. Bunking off shortly before 3 to take the girl to physio.

    Thursday

    Morning Losers!

Work is boring at the moment. I still need to do retard minions appraisal, however that would mean I have to talk to him on a 1-2-1 basis, and that honestly fills me with dread.

Today is payday, however I don't really have much money sadly. Whoopee.

    Anywho, roll on 4pm!

    Morning all,
Traditional mild Thursday hangover is in evidence, pleasant wobble in to work in the sunshine has been had. Now drinking tea with a couple of choc chip cookies. Unfortunately I've just been told that the clear desk policy they've been talking about is now being implemented. This is most definitely not good.

I laugh at this policy. If they want it tidy, they can tidy it.

I decided if they can't see my desk they won't know if it's clear.

    Morning bumberclats,
It's my Friday and I've got next week off. You'd think I'd be happy enough but my boss has managed to p1ss me right off already. Obviously with moral low my work rate will be lower than usual.

Afternoon, Spent most of the morning fishing around under desks checking network ports, no port checker though so had to use an STP phone which made things tedious. Still found 90% of the ports are inactive so job done so to speak. Dawned on me the other day I have Tour of Cambridge in two weeks so some form of training prep is in order so Ill be be out munching miles this evening.
Did pick up some new wider rims for the MTB earlier should be fun to build up.

What did you get? Thinking about building up some new wheels for my 29er.

Went with some Mavic En423's came in at about £50 for the pair as Superstar have 25% off everything so would be silly not to take advantage of it.
Now just need to decide what I'm doing hub wise.

Might have a look later. I went with Novatec 771/772 as I recall, interchangeable end caps so I can swap between QR and bolt through and use the wheels on either the Cotic or the CX. Been running an older version on the CX for a few years now with no problems. Good for the price, I think some of the Superstar hubs are rebranded Novatecs.

They sound that way I was after some caps for my superstar ones found out they were Novatec 881/2S's same principle pop out the caps. Was surprised how simple the job actually was, like yours had no complaints been running them for a few years bit of lube in the bearings an been fine. Trying to resist buying Hope ones

    It's Friday!!!

    Morning Losers!

TFI Friday! This week has dragged so much. It's got boring at work, there's nothing much to do, our budget is slowly running out, nobody will tell us what will happen once our boss has retired at the beginning of August and there's no chance of a payrise.

Last night I went out with a friend, walking the dog, and after 3 hours, my legs are aching like mad. Was nice though. Today, I will get through work, go to Bury, then back to Huddersfield for the weekend.

No Fryday pig meats for me. :-( Unless I can persuade the others to bring something back for me. The upside is it's POETS day for me and I'm clearing off at 3 and it's a long weekend. Probably be busy this morning though as we are short staffed in the office, boss gave 2 people the day off then decided to take the day himself as well. Clear desk policy was attempted yesterday, I cleared the desk with cakes on it and felt a bit sick at the end of it. Unfortunately this means there are no cakes today. But I have just been made another cup of tea and I have biscuits so I shouldn't die of starvation before I leave.

Morning all, Pedalled in for the hell of it I took the full susser meaning many short cuts taken. which is always nice. Also donning some shorts which feels weird in the office especially when a load of people are still in suits, but meh.
Bunged a banana in the pack which at the time was a dubious decision. More so now as its all squishy so looks like I have a smoothie to enjoy later! mmmm!

    And still don't feel 100% :(

The wife picked up some more bikes from storage, so I'm taking the kids mountain biking this morning :)

Then a few jobs and then into town for a night out

    Morning Losers!

I got to bed far later than I planned last night. We went to the pub, and had a good laugh, but sadly I was driving back to da Hudd, so didn't get back until gone midnight.
I'm up early as I'm waiting for a couple of Amazon packages to arrive. I hate not knowing what time they'll come though, any time from now (8am) until about 9pm. I've been asked to come to someones house between 3 and 6 (giggity) but I don't know if I can. Damn you Amazon! *Shakes fist*

    Morning,
Whiskey fuelled ride last night was good, got to bed far too late (nearly 1am) but that didn't matter too much as the missus had kept son #1 up a bit later so that he'd sleep in. However, as usual, 5am comes and son #1 is wide awake. So I maybe got 4 hours sleep last night and now I'm ready to take on the world. Can I just have a nap first though?

    Afternoon pond life :)

Just chilling in the garden with the hound while wifey and Stropteen are out shopping in Bromley. Got a bit of fetting and some bits n pieces done. There's 2 lots of footy on later as well. Not too bad overall.
