    Morning eeengleesh peeegs!

Late start here due to a late finish last night, awaiting builders and architects for a bit of a site meeting. Sitting around monging until they pitch up. Out later this afternoon to celebrate one of the local blue rinse brigade surviving another year.

    Morning Losers!

I really want to leave my job. I really do. Anyone got a job for me? I've applied for a couple of trainee train driver jobs, but not heard back from them so losing hope :(

Today I will slowly drag myself through the day again. Roll on 4pm.

Oh, I appear to have a weevil problem in the kitchen. Any ideas on how to get rid?

Sunny and hot again in the Vienne, only managed an hour in the pool yesterday, hope to rack up more time today!

Think you should train the weevils up Tkm and substitute them for d*ckhead minion!

    Have a good un, toodles.

    Eat the weevils?

Day 1 of the big conference in Berlin. Drank a lot of beer out of the massive 2 pint glasses that they have over here, not bad but I'm a bit tired. Only 7 hours of listening to presentations then it's time for more beer and pig meat.

Moaning, with TKM on the job front battling with higher paid morons who struggle with basic software deployments.
Rubbish sleep pickup some sunburn over the weekend on the lugholes an only started giving me grief last night, that an not being able to have the window open for the rain meant an uncomfortable sleep so roll on half five!

TKM, Weevils were they in with the flour? Usually the only way to get rid of them is bin all of the flour an then empty the cupboards hoover an scrub them out. I had a bag which the blighters must have been in had to do the same. Touch wood not seen any since, plus now I keep each bag of flour in a container.

    Morning,
I've lost interest in my job but it pays the bills so it'll do for now. This morning I'm at hospital with the youngest child, he got a fly sick in his ear and it needs sucking out. After this I'll be going to work. Back at the site with the tea lady so it's not all bad.

This is the weird thing, they're nowhere near the flour. I pulled out my washing machine, and it looks like they've come in via some pipes (and some shoddy workmanship! The floor and walls are terribley done, I can see why I pay so little rent!). I brushed all the feckers up I could see, mopped the floor with a liquid of 2 parts bleach to 1 part water, and I'll keep an eye on it.

    Morning Losers!

Need to send the camera off that I sold on eBay today, then i'll continue building a website as it's far more interesting than doing anything for work.
This evening I'm meeting Miss Bint for veggie Pizza.

    Meh sleep again

Too tired to drive but I've got a meeting in Chester - which means I've done 600 miles in the new car already

Later should be a classic car show near the old house, but I'm too tired and grumpy

That is weird, if they keep coming may be worth getting a weevil killer spray an doing around the pipework. The bleach should do the trick though, see the odd one in the garden which is rapidly squashed.

Quiet one for me today not feeling overly good plus creepy minion raised a complaint about me being unhelpful yesterday. Weird one that, he keeps calling me Pete to my face but raised a complaint about a fault I keep rejecting because he keeps insisting I wipe a users data but refuses to give me a reason. :| Baffled, totally baffled

    Is your name Brian?
    Morning all,
Quite busy here in the fun factory, lots of retail punters being put through to me as it's so busy. I don't like retail punters. Too time consuming and not enough money. Managed a decent pedal in to work this morning and didn't get rained on. Friday tomorrow, but not any old Friday it's CAKE Friday. New HR woman is trying to improve morale and such like by organising a few company events and other little things. One of these things is cake Friday. This pleases me as I'm sure you can imagine.

Veronese, no but worryingly his names Brian, Mines Stephen, The baffling bit is it has my full name on screen when I add notes so some extreme dyslexia going on there on his part to come out with Pete.

Cake Friday sounds pretty good to be fair, when I was at our HO site we used to have dress down every Friday an cakes. Now im on the customer site is once a month if your lucky, no cake an you have to pay for coffee.

    Afternoon dickheads,
Morning was mostly spent in a meeting. I had very little input other than pointing out that I like playing with toys. This afternoon I'm back at work where I'll mostly be starring out the window.

That's very odd, I was of course taking the p!ss. I don't know the bloke.
Stephen with a ph is a fine name and I say that with no hint of bias. No, I don't mean Phteven.

Found out some more creepy bits of info, turns out hes nigh on 70 (fair play still working) but he is leaving at the end of the month

More weirdness, hes had some pictures delivered as in A2 prints of some semi naked ladies. So course he takes them out in the office...

    Anyway

Back from the Ze Fazerland a bit tired but had a good time. Just wish it was Saturday tomorrow as I don't fancy work tomorrow.

    Morning Losers!

TFI Friday! It's been quite a long week. Not that fun either.

My weevil problem seems to have stopped, well, the odd little bugger comes out, but I've gone from maybe a hundred to 2. I think these are the last survivors of the great bleaching.

Had a nice pizza with Miss Bint last night. She's alive everyone, head forwards, stuff like that.

Once I've got through work today, I'll be heading over to Bury, where I have a weekend of cream teas, walks and nice meals. Should be nice.

    Hola fudgenudgers,

Took the missus for a ride at Forest of Dean yesterday. Amazing how much fun it is hearing a woman screaming 'I'm going to die!!!!!' whilst trying to ride over the lip of a berm and down the side of the hill. Opted out of burying her in a ditch as she bought me fish & chips on the way home.

3 weeks left at work and nothing new yet lined up. Will be keeping July free for riding bikes, playing golf and drinking beers before I have to sort my life out.

Morning, appears someone organised an impromptu football themed dress down which for a site of 1200 people has gone down like a bag of spanners seen me an one other so far.
Creepy minion is on full creepy form trying to flirt with some poor girl a fraction of his age fully cringe worthy.
Allegedly theres some form of food downstairs later so I need to investigate to see if it is cake and if so is it worth getting.

Something I'd not mentioned this week, well least don't think so at least is some epic sunburn I picked up last Sunday riding. its all settled into a cracking tan, bar my nose which has decided to peel which is not pleasant.

TKM, sounds like you've nailed the blighters maybe worth giving it a few days an re engaging the enemy with further chemical weapons.

Well, if you got the chips...
    Afternoon all,
Visit to the hospital to see if they had to operate on the hole left after tooth extraction in February. Thankfully it would appear not as I can no longer blow snot bubbles through the gap that once had a molar in it. Got to work just in time for the inaugural cake Friday. Clearly I think this is a very good thing. A couple of people moaned about it which I laughed at as they were moaning whilst stuffing their faces with cake. Fools. Too many customers bothering me this morning, hopefully they will stop now as it's getting too late to get orders out. Might try to slope off a little early and go for a beer with the EPO later.
Oh, yeah. You with the flaky nose, was it cake?

    Evenin Gimboids,

ACOAD at work as I'd lost 3 days at this sodding finance conference in Berlin. Now sat watching the opening game of the Euros and chilling a bit. Need some exercise quite badly though!

    saturday

Didn't get to the pub last night as I ended up working late and the kids were tired! Not a bad thing as we watched the jungle book whilst the current wife and I enjoyed apple and grape based drinks

Not enough sleep but better than earlier in the week, tonight will be feck all sleep as we are camping in Ludlow for some ride I'm doing on Sunday

So new roof bars on the new car which feels wrong and off we go early doors so we can get lunch in the seafood restaurant and then a few bars in the afternoon :)

    Morning turnip heads

Off out to some event thing at a neighbouring village, there will be foods and boozes so it'll keep my attention for a while!

Watched the football last night, not too bad a game, will see after today whether the rest of the tournament will be worth watching.

Good luck with the job hunt. I finished end of March and have spent since then doing as you have suggested and really enjoyed it after deciding that I'll set a date for when I'll start seriously looking. A long period of time off is not for the faint hearted but it is cathartic (look it up - I had to) I'm starting to take it seriously in July and look around. Meanwhile I'm fit, tanned, content and unstressed.

How can they operate on a hole? Were they going to remove it. Did you get to say to the 'person' on reception that you've come to get your hole examined? If the dentist did not deal with it at the time he extracted the tooth then it was hardly an holistic experience.

    Morning Losers!

I appear to have been left in charge of my Dad whilst my Mum goes shopping. I've never had to look after a 4 year old, never mind a 69 year old man acting like a 4 year old!

They're then off to a Golden Wedding Anniversary (Which I'm not invited to! Cheers Aunty!) so I'm off to claim a free cream tea and scone before heading out into the wilderness of Lancashire with a dog and is owner (who's a she). Hopefully we'll end up in a nice pub somewhere for some grub and booze.

Traditional slow start was followed by small amounts of pottering about doing stuff. Helped put bunting up in preparation for streeet party tomorrow. Finished up at the pub end of the road, bizarrely we decided we needed a pint after such thirsty work. This was followed by a drink over at a mates place. This may have set the tone for the rest of the evening and tomorrow.
