Definitely advantage Sky here. Stannard just sitting in while Etixx, Trek and BMC play silly-buggers.

Don't forget Vanmarcke. He's done a single pull in the last 50kms.

Terpstra has been the consummate team mate today........which is a shock. Chapeau.

    @friebos

Sagan & Kwiatkowski were big rivals as juniors. In those days, Sagan was the climber, Kwiato the sprinter.
  • Brilliant. Rennart asked Wilfred Peeters "what now?"

    The answer was "we'll try"

I'm running out of beer faster than Etix ran out of gas.

Kwiatkowski is in the fortunate position of not having to work as hard as Sagan, since there are no Tinkoff riders in the chasing group. I could see Sagan coming second here again.
  • Not quite sure why kwiatowski is towing a far better sprinter the the line

  • Vanmarcke and Benoot don't have it today

    You think?

Thought Sagan had easily done his share.
Think Kwiatkowski will start to leave Sagan in the wind now.

Incredible: Stybar can’t hold the pace of his group. Dropped.

Gap suddenly went down to 17"

    Must have been inaccurate before.

Gap apparently drops to under 20" in the space of 1k

Boonen chasing on the front now

Not necessarily. Sagan really knocked it off there, for fear of a Kwiatkowski attack on the incline.

didn't need a cristal ball to see that coming, or Stannard in 3rd.
