No sprint from Cav to give EBH the best chance to win overall? what a swell guy.

He is still finished though. :-)

It's only a bit of sport, Mun. Relax and enjoy the racing.

    Where is everyone watching this???
Napoleon, don't be jealous that I've been chatting online with babes all day. Besides, we both know that I'm training to be a cage fighter.

  • I watched this yesterday, and it looked to me like Cav was just placed at the back of the line, tried to sprint but just got pushed back by the wind.

They finished in the same order they passed the kite in (sans lead out men) which would suggest sprinting past someone would have been nigh on impossible

Alexander Kristoff (Katusha) wins Stage 5 of the Tour of Qatar and Mark Cavendish (Team Dimension Data) wins the race overall

I'm going to be accused of moodiness again but if he can't beat Kristoff in a drag race then he's a lot closer to finished...

I agree. Whilst Kristoff is definitely one of the fastest he will never be the fastest man on two wheels.
