Ewan wins the chipper ahead of Nizzolo and Blythe. Looks good in his Aus kit.0

Any idea which obscure domestique has been adopted by the Aussie tifosi this year?0
-
Are Sky still showing it this year ? Need to make sure I set this up to record, even if it's not the best race in the world0

Some Italian Cannondale guy. Can't say I'd ever heard of him - you'd think they would have picked someone more high profile.!0 -
Controversial opinion alert.
Moral of the story is that spoiler threads are going to be a whole lot more dull without frenchfighter
How so. PM?0 -
All topics marked as read. Back for a new season of cycling loveliness.
Back from my Winter training regime of eating all the fatty foods and drinking Aldi lager0 -

I know others will disagree but in my view:
- He posted a lot of snippets of news/info from a variety of sources (particularly non-English). He followed an amazing amount of racing/rider histories. We don't get that as much now.
- He was a pro with photos and would post loads of riders, of new equipment, etc. I know people had issues with volume, relevance, and copyright, but I miss them.
- He was passionate about his cycling and held some different views which he was willing to debate. Yes, he had his weak points but he was a character that kept momentum on the forum going. It isn't as entertaining on here now... particularly in the off-season!0 -

The women were racing on monday and it was over 40°C0 -
Not a surprise that Ewan wins but it is the first world tour race of the year and his first, of many, stint in a leaders jersey. Renshaw in second is hopefully not the first of many near misses by him and the team. Another good result by Blythe.0

SKY Twitter says 'great lead out fur Swift'. He was 7th Blythe in 5th0

Not convinced that was a "great leadout", maybe great for Sky as they didn't get swamped until they were inside the last KM, which is later than usual..0

lols... kamikaze from Blythe... nice kick from Caleb...0 -

"Ebay" Blythe"In many ways, my story was that of a raging, Christ-like figure who hauled himself off the cross, looked up at the Romans with blood in his eyes and said 'My turn, sock cookers'"

This really captures all the excitement of the TDU for me... "Geraint Thomas finishes in the bunch.""In many ways, my story was that of a raging, Christ-like figure who hauled himself off the cross, looked up at the Romans with blood in his eyes and said 'My turn, sock cookers'"

Am I imagining that I spotted a slimline version of the Stannard about to pile-drive his way into the 2016 season?0

Just steam-rolling along, creating a few medium size tremors and shaking the vines of the Barossa Valley to their core0 -

Surely no coincidence that today's stage passed through Cockatoo Valley0 -

I would be amazed if, come the end of the season, this isn't Renshaws best result.0 -
I'm not so sure - it won't be long until he won't be riding for himself, that is unless you are counting the times when he will play a part in Cav's results0

Well it's already one place better than his best result last year...0 -

Or that tomorrow it's going through Bellend Canyon and over Sneaky Toerag Pass0
