Bianchi colours too. Well done that man.
The kitchen actually looks like it is used and the house looks like it's lived in. F*ck the minimalist faux Calvinism that seems to be pervading everything. People who extend, spend £8k on a kitchen which is immaculate when they can't cook and actually only needed a microwave in the first place don't make much sense to me.seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -
Can I have this, from the World Champs threadIs this a victory I see before me?
The line spread out across the road
Come, let me clutch thee
I have thee not, and yet I race on still
Art though not, winning vision, sensible to Sagan as to Greips
Or art though, but a second on the line,
a false creation proceeding from the sports gel addled mind
I see thee yet, at World Champ'onships
which to now I must go
Thou marshall'st me to attack the cobbled hill
and distance the belgian who too oft seconds
My talents make straights of these corners
this is worth all the rest. I race on still
And on my jersey and shorts, rainbow stripes
which were not there before. Keep on racing
'Tis for the spoils of winning
(and for world peace) I must o'er this race presideWe're in danger of confusing passion with incompetence

I should probably be excluded for being in green, but I haven't read the small print
Amazingly you have managed to make a teenage daughter smile, so the bike was clearly a good idea!
Unfortunately she can't ride it as she is unwell and is getting bad dizzy spells, basket is now fitted though.0 -
Me pinning it on some local trails in a rather garish helmet.
And a grubby photo of the bike I'm riding on.

Let's just look at this a bit closer. Here is a man who's just cycled 60 miles in good weather, in a region famous for it's wine in a country ideal for cycling. But just look at him: what a picture of misery. How could you do all that on such a lovely day in such a lovely part of the world and end up being miserable? He looks like he got 10 score draws and forgot to send away the coupon. I dunno...

i think he was very happy but half way through the second round, has just realised he is sitting on a Corbyn thinking cap0 -

Clearly it's a being in France thing, that need to philosophise and ponder a little bit deeper about life and examine your own existance more carefully, it's written all over his face. 'Just why did I cycle 60miles?', 'Was it even real?'0 -
Flaneur is England's answer to Albert Camus?! How much have you had to drink?seanoconn - gruagach craic!0

More to the point. Are those Sean Kelly's shorts? The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.Veronese68 wrote:PB is the most sensible person on here.0 -

Flaneur should get it for simply being brave enough to post his mug on the bike forum and in the process have to run the gauntlet of Bracketeers. If he does win, i'll PM about a partial prize swap.seanoconn - gruagach craic!0
