He has obviously failed on the wall. If the wall worked there would be no need for tariffs to stop illegal immigrants. Although how destroying an economy will cut economic immigrants is beyond me.

Apparently part of the wall was built. Well, existing second were repaired and that was already budgeted for by the previous administration.

Actually iirc they built 3 or 4 sections of the wall as a test to find out what competing designs worked out best. There's a desert area base down there with 4 wall sections standing like modern day standing stones, apart from anything else.

So if they count he's fulfilled an ickle, little bit of the wall.

A two mile stretch of said wall was built using private funds though but I don't think that counts. He found a thing people disliked in this case immigration from Mexico bundled it into his MAGA campaign. Failed to get Mexico to pay for the wall (wonder why). So instead he has to find new ever more inventive ways to get the funding. Main ones being declaring the border issue a national emergency. But as he no longer held control in the house of representatives they blocked the diversion of the bulk of that funding. Now he has decided there will be a rising tariff on goods from there, clever as theres a huge amount of goods coming across from there but also stupid as it will directly impact those companies who rely on the imports. Again though this hopefully is going to get shot out of the water.

Then we also have the issues geographically of this wall. He wants it end to end. some of these areas are going to be nigh on impossible to do semi mountainous going through rivers etc. Also you can throw in some issues presented by wildlife the one I know of is theres a species of butterfly that would be negatively impacted by the wall I think it blocks their migration path or similar.

He's not everyone's cuppa, especially me, but there's no getting away from fact that he's popular in much of the USA. He's done what he promised, which is more than any PM has done in UK.

Is he "popular in much of the USA"? Really?

Has he done what he promised?

    Supreme Court appointments?

I didn't realise he campaigned on that.

    He did.

As well as that, there is moving the US embassy in Israel to Jersusalem, which are two promises delivered to one specific section of the electorate.

The more high profile promises about improved healthcare at a lower price and getting rid of corruption haven't been delivered as well as the obviously impossible ones that he promised that were there to show where he stood on race.

    Lincoln was shot.

So if he has reason to complain, we should put him on the same par as Abe.

Only 4 have been assassinated. Poor show for a country full of guns.

U.S. Government Says It's Not Required to Provide Migrant Kids in Custody* With Toothpaste and Soap
The U.S. Justice Department argued in federal court this week that government agencies like Customs and Border Protection have no responsibility to provide toothbrushes, toothpaste, and soap to migrant kids who are currently held in America’s vast network of concentration camps.
