cost includes service at TFtuned so £225 all in (plus postage obviously) - pike service is £95, they charge £50 to tune the OE damper so its not a bad price considering you get a different rebound/compression damper with HSC/LSC that actually makes a difference between clicks. If your fork doesn't need a service its a bit pricey I suppose but mine does.0

looks great with the mint frame and kashima.0

Took the bike out again last night
Seems the harshness was from trapped air in the lowers. Used the "zip tie" technique to let the excess air out without having to undo anything. Look it up, it was pretty easy and solved the issue.
Forks are damn good. What i was expecting really.
Now i have it dialed in, i'm starting to think i might need/want an aggressive HT for general mooching and some of the trails that don't really need a FS

mine is a petrol as well (16). currently sporting old 120mm forks and slickish tyres for any communiting I might do or general exercise. very flickable bike, I did run it with 160 pikes0 -
strange you should mention the Dartmoor frame, I've been looking around for something like that myself.
what bottom bracket do they use the normal screw thread or them annoying press fit types?0 -

Update time
Took an age to rebuild for various reasons. Full strip down and clean. New bearings throughout. Frame polished back to new.
A couple of small changes. Moved the SLX rear mech off the HT as i wanted the clutch function. Needed that as ive got rid of the MRP Mini chain guide for a One-Up guide and bash. Lack of lower chain guide needs a clutch, hence the move. Also replaced the existing saddle. Swapped out for another Gobi XM that i got for a steal 2nd hand. Also swapped the Easton stem for the Renthal Apex i had on the HT. Apart from that and a new chain and gear cable, everything else is the same.
