In a masterpiece of research by Google, velonews fail to spot that one of the next wave of Belgian talent they're pushing in the last paragraph passed away last year. Good work."In many ways, my story was that of a raging, Christ-like figure who hauled himself off the cross, looked up at the Romans with blood in his eyes and said 'My turn, sock cookers'"

It’s the only time I’ve ever been motivated to write to a publication to complain and request an amendment."In many ways, my story was that of a raging, Christ-like figure who hauled himself off the cross, looked up at the Romans with blood in his eyes and said 'My turn, sock cookers'"

Absolute shocker. Did you get a response? No change on the article yet. You could tweet Gregor Brown...0 -
Were I on twitter, maybe I would... Feel free if you want.
It was only this morning I e-mailed their editorial mailbox. I assume they're all asleep."In many ways, my story was that of a raging, Christ-like figure who hauled himself off the cross, looked up at the Romans with blood in his eyes and said 'My turn, sock cookers'"

Had a researcher do that once.
Recommended a candidate for a role. Adamant he'd spoken to him.
Good job I checked because the client had attended said candidate's funeral 13 months ago.0 -

They are Lightweights. Steve Cummings was also riding Dura Ace C50s instead of MTN Enves.0 -
Oh Good Lord...
Sagan's new jersey will have“a very classic look ”“Under UCI rules we can only have team issue shorts or white shorts. We haven’t decided which Peter will wear yet but the rules mean he can’t use black shorts.”0 -
Just watching this again.
Have we discussed the time Sagan took out of everyone while not actual pedalling?“New York has the haircuts, London has the trousers, but Belfast has the reason!0 -

which is a bit of a surprise, as both aren't bad bikehandlers. they must have been absolutely cooked at that point or just realising they couldn't get away...0 -
For me he gave himself a shot at the win by getting a bike length on GVA over the summit of that climb, but he won the rainbow jersey on the descent immediately afterwards, particularly the way he took that 90 degree left hand bend. When he went into it he had a couple of bike lengths on GVA and EBH, when he came out of the corner he had about 30 metres on them.

Hmm - I think my memory has exaggerated it a bit, and the camera work makes the gap look smaller and larger at points, but I still think the gap goes out a fair bit as he takes that corner0 -
Possible GVA eases off out of shot to try and get Boasson Hagen to come through[Castle Donington Ladies FC - going up in '22]0
-
In the latest instalment of "Why I lost this time - pt 372" GVA said he was trying to get EBH to come through and work as otherwise he would have dragged him back to Sagan only to be out sprinted on the line....which to be honest is fair enough.
So I think there was a least a certain amount of hesitation from GVA.We're in danger of confusing passion with incompetence

Yes I think BH must look back and think I had a chance of sprinting from a group of 3 for the world champs, he should have thought stuff Kristoff I'm having this, he's too nice for his own good.[Castle Donington Ladies FC - going up in '22]0

Away with two others in the world champs, 2.5k to go and EBH decides to do nothing. Not even sure how this helps Kristoff.0 -
If i remember correctly EBH hesitated in 2012 too0

If i remember correctly EBH hesitated in 2012 too
He also literally ended up being the door mat in the 2007 U23 Champs as well0
