any XXL's? #askingforafriend0 -
Only saw the finish earlier, just watched the highlights.
In my limited experience that was the best Gt finale I have seen. So many races going on today.
No fan of Astana or Katusha but loved the efforts of the individuals.
as it turned out the tt was really the decisive point - Aru's limited loss and JRod doing -as he put it- a Purito TT.
Hope to see Ten-Ton-Tom at the front again soon.0 -

If Tom Dumoulin takes red jersey tomorrow, LottoNL-Jumbo will help teh Dutchman in the following stages
Yeah. I'll help too......arf!“New York has the haircuts, London has the trousers, but Belfast has the reason!0 -

Did seem to be the crux, though there would have been attacks on the last climb anyways. Easy to say now, but the frantic start to the stage, something which usually goes on pre TV, and "the selection" allowing Astana those riders in the break for the day, really hurt Dumoulin in the end.0 -
Astana getting motopaced, thats when the gap went out quick
I didn't realise how much I was rooting for Dumoulin until he lost it. It was a great finish to a GT but it just left me feeling a bit gutted for him.0 -
Re the lack of posts, it's always a bit quieter on the weekend isn't it?0
-
Gutted for Dumoulin not even to make the podium. Haven't watched the highlights yet.0

I'm not going to discredit Astana on this one they worked this stage tactically brilliantly. If Domoulin had been able to win the race not only as a 'non climber' but without any GC specific support lots of teams would be needing to have a serious word with themselves.0
-
Giant really seemed to mess that stage up. They've been quiet the whole Tour but yesterday they really blew it not having anyone in the break.
Astana were good but it was Giant that let it go, hence Dumoulins long slide down the order. Feel sorry for the guy, but it's been a cracking race.0 -
Arguably the most significant stage of a grand tour this year, and no spoiler thread?
Woke up and just needed to get on my bike and ride - about 100km into my ride and taking a natural break I remembered that for the last three weeks I had been starting spoiler threads. I nearly tried to start one from the side of the road on my smart phone :-)0 -

For anyone who enjoyed the narrative of this stage I would highly recommend stage 20 of this year's Giro:

Just watched the highlights. Cracking stage. Gutted for Tom, but Vino played a blinder and Aru made it stick when it mattered.
Have to say I'm a little uneasy that Huerta played such a pivotal role today. It's a little like wrestling a gorilla. You don't quit when you're tired. You quit when the gorilla is tired.0
