Without those two bumps of cat 3 ramps on the circuit this could have been one long descent - and with two nasty descents of Cresto del Gallo we will have proof of whether Sagan truely is best descender... However I think this will be a bunch sprint - it is 15k from the bottom of Cresto del Gallo to the finish line. Can a small group of talented bike handlers open enough of a gap to hold off the peleton for 15k?

Just parked myself up in Rapha while the wife goes spending. Can't see myself watching for long though, that's a pretty uninspiring looking stage. Was hoping for mountains today having last all track of this year's route.0

Tough little climb, very narrow. Howes has ridden off the front of the break and leads the peloton which is all together by 48" 40km left.0

The road surface on the climb looks like it has been stolen from the UK. Looks like horrible surface dressing. That's me done for now, don't think I can manage another coffee and better find the wife before she bankrupts us!0
