500m as no one behind willing to chase :roll:Contador is the Greatest0

Six riders chasing become 10 or so due to the sitting up.
Formolo attacks.
Heano still clear.Contador is the Greatest0 -
Very nice move by Heano to take a great win!
Would have preferred Nieve bu nonetheless a good one.
As none other than Ulissi takes 2nd.
Amazing how pro cyclists would rather lose than take the group up to the contention.
Great work by Sky today and Nieve particularly strong in the end.Contador is the Greatest0 -
That's a decent gap at the finish for Henao.0

4 of my men in the top ten.
De Clerq retains the GC just unless there are bonus seconds.
Heano celebrating cost him a second or two.Contador is the Greatest0 -
Bonus seconds are quite large.
Heano
Ulissi +0
De Clerq +10 secs
Formolo + 11
Hermans + 14
Not sure how it will pan out for the TT but Hermans is a decent time trialler.Contador is the Greatest0 -
Good stage once again although a proper MTF would be nice. On the other hand these middle mountains with little flat does lend itself to exciting, attritional, more open and full gas racing.
Flat 25km TT tomorrow around Krakow to finish it off.
Solid interest from BR members for this race...Contador is the Greatest0 -

Well it is a Friday evening as most people are heading home from work.
I was watching just not writing on the thread! Off to the Denmark thread now for the TT...0 -

Good point. It's amazing how difficult it still is to follow cycling (esp on holiday with dodgy wifi). Also this must be one of the least known WT races. I know it better from when it was amateur but recently there's been an odd mix of winners (Dan Martin and Voight!).
I get a lot of info from this forum but don't post that often. Doesn't mean I'm not interested!0 -
He's closed the gap but dropped nobody - Henao goes...
Good from Sky to be fair.
That must have been painful for you to type that.0 -

Rosa by himself with Boswell stringing out the bunch of about 25 quite nicely. In those lovely blue rapha shoes.

22 DNF (including Kwiatek...huge shame on him and Teuns) and last rider in over 40 mins down. Last two stages have been raced a bloc...massive credit to anyone close to the front end.Contador is the Greatest0

Guessing it's based on this traditional Polish garb. The podium girl is dressed as such so it would make a modicum of sense.

A guy from the Polish team wins the TT 3 secs ahead of Kiri and almost a minute ahead of 3rd place. Izagirre takes the GC. Henao loses far too much time in the TT and slips down to 8th. De Clerq not bad and 2nd at 2 secs and Hermans 3rd at 3 secs.Contador is the Greatest0

some ride for marcin that. A lot of good pro tour guys put away by a conti rider who spent first few months off season riding nat bs0

Just the 7901m of climbing for Carlos Verona at the Tour of Poland on last two stages. Height of Everest: 8848m.

Typically derogoratory post by you Frenchie and shows your ignorance of anything outside Stinky Saxoff.
Marcin has been one of the strongest pros on the UK domestic scene for the last couple of years and has had a great Tour of Poland. He is also Polish national TT champion I believe.
If he was 5 years younger he'd be riding for a WT team.0 -

He IS the Polish National TT champ. But then again the only rider of note he beat to take that title was some Tinkoff-Saxo rider by the name of R. Majka (by 52 seconds, 4th place)0 -
Been busy this week with various things so thanks for the updates Frenchie. Rounded up the action well0
