Tour de Pologne 2015 *Spoilers*
Couldn't see a thread for this already so here it is.
1st stage was a flat circuit around Warsaw:
Won by Marcel Kittel ahead of Caleb Ewan after a surprisingly technical last 2k. Don't often see what must have been a 360-degree climbing turn towards the end of a sprint stage!
Highlights here (watch for Kittel and Ewan having a little coming together on the final corner)
6 stages left, 2 fairly flat looking, 3 more that look pretty lumpy with a 25k flat ITT to finish it off.

Nice run in there. Biggest guy in peloton against onr of the smallest!!! Good work from both of them.Contador is the Greatest0

I though Kittel had no chance when I saw the finish, as I thought he wouldn't be able to get his power down, but he let Ewan overshoot the final corner slightly and got the power down before him.
Good sprint0 -
Great to see Kittel back. The Tour sprints were poorer for his absence.0

50km left I think.Contador is the Greatest0

There's not much love for this race this year on BR.0

When they get to stage 4 onwards, I'll start to get a bit more interested0 -
Flat stages + Carlton Kirby. I'm sure there will be more interest once the first few stages are done.0

That was Ferrari's fault not Ewans, very similar to the one with Cav in the Giro.0 -

Superb gif.
Amazing.
How Nizzolo kept that up and still had the werewithal to sprint is astounding.
Who's the Sky rider who brakes himself off his bike at the end?0 -
I hope that Katusha rider is ok.Contador is the Greatest0
-
Well that was a dirty sprint. Pelucchi also going right off line to put Kittel off.0
-
That was a monster crash. Not quite as big as the one a couple of years ago in (I think) the Tour of Turkey. Sounds like everyone got out reasonably OK though.0
-
I hope that Katusha rider is ok.
The race director told AFP: “There is no news of serious injuries.”
Amazing if true; I hope it is - that crash looked like a race-ender for more than a few riders0 -
Just looked at the finish and the city-centre circuit for today's stage. 1000m dash from a roundabout down hill to the line - should be proper set up for fast finishers again. Although 60k of (what looks from google maps) very tight street circuits could well allow a break away to survive.0

Maggy thinks that could have harmed Kittel's chances of winning.
Really, you think so. Well I never.
Never seen so many riders skidding sideways into a crash.

Belkov withdraws0 -
It is raining in Katowice - gonna make diesel covered roads pretty dodgy0
-
Pelucchi wins again on stage 3, the small climb in the last 2k was enough to put Kittel in a bit of trouble and he never really got back into position.0

Profile for today is a bit more interesting.Contador is the Greatest0

Been looking forward to today. Got to be Kwia today right?
EDIT
think it was actually tomorrow I was thinking of.0 -
Always nice to see a break stay away. Combination of hard work, bad weather bust most importantly a terribly organised peleton.
Seemed no one wanted to help Orica and they burned out early once again this race.0
