    If Porte was fully fit I would bet of Froome&Porte v Quintana&Valverde; but Richie has been ill. But he is great mates with Froome and not sure the same esprit de corps will work with Q&V

    Contra door dropped from the chasers. Lazarus like performance from Porte who's looked to be struggling since the the first day in the Pyrenees. Dropped now though and just Nibs and Froome left in the chase.

    Froome burns off Porte in pursuit of Nibali, for some reason. Not sure why react to a guy you're a million years ahead of on GC, but maybe it was just time to do something. Or revenge.
