Barguil attacks and Frank follows then Gesink.
Fight for 5-10th.Contador is the Greatest0 -
If they attack Sky here they'll get rid of Roach and Poels at least...
Poels looking decidedly ropey.
I had this climb on my to-do list for my upcoming holiday. Now I'm not so sure... :?
If you cope well with gradient changes this is the most beautiful side, I'd say: but the other side of Glandon is a constantly harder climb I reckon.
Also depends if you want to appreciate the scenery on way up or way down. Cracking descents (literally, if you're Pinot. But you're not, are you?).0 -
Voeckler has attacked the peloton prsumably to get some tv airtime.
Thats about all he's good for these days! let me guess 2 minutes maximum?0 -
Mollema needs to be careful here if he is even in that group.Contador is the Greatest0

Looks like Sky might have upped the pace a bit. Some riders are being dropped.0

The Glandon is a belter of a climb in real life. It's in the shade for the first half in the morning when most "punters" tackle it and the scenery is stunning. You can take a detour onto the old road that got wiped out by the landslide a few decades ago which necessitated the dip to cross the river and the subsequent steep climb to re-join the road. Very spooky, and ideally placed for a breather half way up! The descent back down to Allemont is about as good as they get too.0 -
