sent you a pm but it looks stuck in the outbox
It will stay in your Outbox until the recipient reads it.0 -
Replied to pm's (was watching TdF!!).
Think they've all gone now - was a French site, bit of a fluke I think, I bought 2 in the end, one for a mate.
For those looking to buy one, supply is limited but some French sites do have some and a fair bit cheaper than UK too, (about 200 Euros).0 -

200 euros is a bit more than a shade over £100
Maybe re-read what I said?
They were going for 149E on one site - they all got sold.
But you can find them on other sites for 200E.
Make sense?0 -
Anyone know when the Giro Synthe with MIPS is due for release?I'm sorry you don't believe in miracles0

One of the strava challenges is offering these for $200 (around £130). Seem good value.0 -

http://www.clicvelo.com - 195E. Never used them so can't comment on their reliability.
Rosebikes have them for 216E, looks like some of the other French sites at 200E have sold out too now.
Well, what do you expect? Froomey and his mates are all wearing them, innit?0 -

Fill your boots mate, as long as you remember my 10% commission..!!0 -
Has anybody bought from mistervelo.com before ? Some of the prices are very suspect. Edit: nevermind google translate was displaying stuff wrong.0

Well, the 2 Protones turned up, so seems Mistervelo is pretty efficient, this time at least.
They were despatched same day, free.
As for the helmet, it's nice and light, 215g - must be the lightest 'aero' lid out there?
At first, feared it was too small, but it does fit when you adjust it - it's just a low bulk helmet.
Very comfy - is it as light and comfy as my Sworks Prevail? Only time will tell.
It's a good bit lighter than my Giro Air Attack; doesn't look as aero, but who knows?

L/L in the UK doing 20% off Kask's at the moment, Protone not on the list, but if your ring they will do a deal.
P.S Berni how many heads you got, that's some collection of Lids? ( I know one of the Kasks is for a mate)0 -

Prevail lives in Mallorca as it's my best light/airy lid.
Attack is for France, but I'm off to the Alps tomorrow, and they're forecasting 38'C so I needed a cooler lid.0 -
Mojito for under €70 seems like a steal, although I wear Oakley Radars so should I steer clear unless I want to mod the arms of the glasses?0
-
I wear Radars (sometimes) with the Mojito. It's really not an issue and I'd not even noticed it until I read about it. I'd not let that put me off. Its a nice helmet.0

I might be being thick but can't find the Protone on mistervelo's site can someone link it here please?0
