The official live tracker is up and running - interestingly you can see Nacer Bouhanni's bike moving along the course so you can where the team cars are.

Has anyone of note missed the split?
i haven't really been paying attention as I've been sawing my old toilet seat off with a hacksaw, but I'll take a punt and say: Pinot.
Bolts rusted with urine, knightmare that. Have to tell your wife to be more careful in future.0 -

What about the race suspension after a crash the other day, and whether or not Sky attacked? Debates can't all be as divisive as the Porte wheel change. You were spoilt with that.0 -

That's really good. Thanks for posting. I've always wanted something like that.0 -

It was a classic. Think I managed 3 contradictory opions in one day. The organisation of the suspension and restart was far too competent for my liking....a rare 100% loyal Pro Race poster. A poster boy for the community.0 -

We've just moved, so all current residents are innocent parties.Team My Man 2018: David gaudu, Pierre Latour, Romain Bardet, Thibaut pinot, Alexandre Geniez, Florian Senechal, Warren Barguil, Benoit Cosnefroy0 -
The 2nd peloton is 3mins down.
Guess who is in it from Sky.
GC contender Porte.
BMC are getting mugged.Contador is the Greatest0 -

This is so tiresome. Just drop it Frenchie and grow up FFS.
You know that Porte was never riding this tour for the GC.0 -
Has Luke Rowe been seen so far this race? After his showings in spring was expecting him to be an important player yesterday but haven't heard his name mentioned once.0

That John fellow on Eurosport is wrecking my head. I didn't think it was possible to find someone so dull sounding. If Rob Hatch wasn't getting the lead gig, having him as the studio/dungeons man would have been awesome.**************************************************

They need to get a move on figuring out how to use all this data in the coverage - there's so much they could be doing but aren't.That John fellow on Eurosport is wrecking my head. Quite like it - feels like watching a test match!0 -

Ive been wondering about that. Perhaps he's too good looking so the GC riders are keeping him hidden until they need someone to take the attention off them0 -
Morabito down, clipped a kerb or spectator0

Quite sobering seeing the size of the war cemeteries."The Prince of Wales is now the King of France" - Calton Kirby0

He's up near the front marshalling the Sky team. He was also seen dicussing the Nuetralisation with Prudhomme the other day - him and Pete K looked quite animated about it all.
Suspect a lot of his other work is early on, pre-tv coverage.
Also note if you're watching Eurosport Kirby doesnt have a clue who half the riders are so only seems to mention certain ones repeatedly, even if they're irrelevant like Devolder.0 -
what's going on? the race is being ridden like it has been neutralised....0

Any chance of a time and distance update? Ta.0

44.3km to go0
-
all of Team Sky, moviestar, Tinkoff, BMC and Astana lined up across the road0

PK also in the 2nd group which is well over 3mins back.Contador is the Greatest0

On that tracker I've got the five main GC guys saved as favourites (although I felt dirty favouriting bertie) so presumably that should highlight live gaps - not great today but good for the mountain stages.0

Forum favourite Zubeldia can now be tracked. He is in the lead group.0
