Another crash in the bunch. Involving Van Avermaet (bmc) and several cannondale-garmin riders . All back on bikes.

ITV showing highlights. After showing and discussing Martin making his way back to the group - on Trentin's bike, they immediately cut to Pinot, standing at the roadside ignoring a teamate's bike. Martin has the mind power.
To be fair to Pinot, it was the last chance for Martin's goal of bonus seconds and yellow for a day or 2. Pinot had 3 mechanical's which dropped him from 1st group to behind the 2nd and a mechanic/helper who looked like he didn't know his ar$e from his elbow. Nevermind the day before.0 -
