    They're not chasing though are they? Why would they? They know they're racing for second.

    Ryder catching AC on the climb, can't be giving it everything then can he? Despite the contorted face every now and again.

    GPS saying Hesjedal and Contador have 1.40 on the chasing group. The leaders (still four) have 7 mins to Contador with 28km to race.

    I love the sport, that's why I find it hard to critises any of the riders. I have varying degress of admiration!

    Almost every stage has been great racing - tbh it doesn't really matter who anybody is riding for when it's so enjoyable. Obviously it would be great if Porte was up there but you can't have everything.
