This FDJ rider is having issues on every corner it seems. Either he is rubbish or his bike has a problem.

Clement crashes also. Tough descent this one.

Stef Clement down next to a Sky rider. Sky rider docked two mins for looking at Clement's wheel in a suggestive manner.

    GO URAN

Gaps all over the place, Uran comes to the front and keeps the pace high

Those Orica Green Edge wheels are quite sketchy.

Aru and Contador perfectly ok in a group of about 20. They need to drill it now. Can't see Porte but he may be there.

This FDJ rider is unbelievably bad

    Fairly novel FDJ descending.

I think Porte is there but he is so small it is hard to make out.

Yeah Porte is there. Astana drilling. One group with about 20 riders is coming back. No one within several hundred m after that.

Now 25/30 riders at the front with 16km to race. Porte solo. Contador with 2. Aru with 3.

No drilling going on actually at the moment, all calm and waiting to see who goes.

Team mates chatting to each other and cruising comfortably.

Not a bad time to go for Pelizotti.

Now penultimate climb. Pelizotti has a bit of ribbon caught near his cassette. Doesn't look like it's going to clog it but it could.

No racing on this climb yet.

Aru with 3/4 team mates, Contador with 1. All looking comfortable, Porte still with them all really. Astana setting the pace really, sending someone off the front on this little descent.

Kangert off front 7s to Pelizotti for him. Gilbert going off the front of the pack dragging someone else with him.

Pelizotti attempt over now, hanging in with Kangert though at the moment.

Gilbert attacks. Times have changed - he clearly no longer feels he can win easily on a ramp.

Kangert riding very strongly but has a lot of BMC trying to pull him back for Gilbert's attempt.

Wishing I'd picked Gilbert for PTP now! Think Ulissi placed well though (?)
