Yes. Portland. And it is exactly like that. Although being a European, Dutch resident I do think they overplay the bikes and beer thing. Sure they have beer here and bikes, but pah!

I think Jon Izagirre may win the TT today. The course is basically his back yard. A real GC danger too.

Carlton is doing my head in. You'd think Quintana was in yellow or something.

he was watching that for hours and didn't notice that it took them 30 seconds from appearing under the arch to get to the finish.

Unbelievable. Took JRod out of my road.cc team this morning and replaced him with Spilak.

    Major fail.

Yeah, but to be fair to him he doesn't really pay attention to what's going on.

    Good win for Rodriguez.

At least he's nowhere near the cobbles tomorrow. He'd have no idea what is going on between different groups on the road.

    Great news!

Shame that Simon Yates faded in the 2nd half of the TT but he still took the young riders jersey.

Very heavyweight top 10 that. Especially for a week long race.

As you can see, there's a group of riders riding bikes, 100k to go, in the zone of hurt, as they enter the hurt zone, as you can see, 99k to go, there's a group of bike riders, as you can see, 98k to go, this is the zone of hurt, there's some cobbles coming up, as you can see, the cobbles are coming up, the group of riders is on the cobbles, the cobbles are a whole zone of hurt, there's many more cobbled sections to go, each one is a zone of hurt, then they'll enter the velodrome, a real hurt zone, 97k to go, as you can see......repeat ad nauseum.

It's soul destroying. How is this clampit employed as a professional commentator.
