No one has Henao in their my man team unusually. I have Henao but that's Seb.
I had him as a substitute, and seeing as Evans has retired he sort of is now.

Considering putting him in post sunday.

You can't just go round randomly picking My Men and swapping them about. It's not on.

When one of my men is retiring I can. People did it for Cadel.

But you knew he was retiring when you picked him.

My understanding is that the My Mans list was for the season, and at least Cuddles saw the season out. Can we have an official adjudication from the commissaires, please?

It's only a bit of sport, Mun. Relax and enjoy the racing.

I subbed in Paolini for J Rod.
    But Cookson said I could.
    A derogation or something

JRod sucks wheels the entire way and then comes round for the win. Kwiatek, Sanchez and Majka 7 secs back.

"Re: My man 2015 - the 9 man squad

    A Yates
    S Yates
    C Froome
    I Stannard
    G Thomas
    M Cavendish
B Wiggins till he retires in April then the returning Sergio Henao
    R Majka
    A Kristoff"

Given it's April and Wiggins effectively retired with his performance in Flanders I'm fully claiming Henao as My Man.

Wiggins isn't retiring. He's riding the TdY.
Team My Man 2018: David gaudu, Pierre Latour, Romain Bardet, Thibaut pinot, Alexandre Geniez, Florian Senechal, Warren Barguil, Benoit Cosnefroy

I've just got permission from the UCI, both teams are happy, the race organisers are happy. It's in everyone's best interest: as of 13/04 Sergio Henao will be riding for My Man Sjmclean team.

Anyone with a different point of view I'll see you in the Court of Arbitration for Sport.

  • Castroviejo got bought down by spectator and Pinot was behind. he had to walk before re mounting due to spectators. They reckoned he lost a minute but was only 18 secs down at finish

Is it just me or was that downhill finish a bit silly?

JRod with another win just ahead of Mollema and Yates. Henao retains his jersey. Only 15 riders or so left at the end. Kwiatek about 20 secs back.

the finish yesterday was a bit manic too - and the finish on the first stage ....well...

have noticed many more marshalls out with yellow flags though

downhill finishes always seem odd but does set up attacking riding on the climb

It was a bit of a crap finish - downhill sprint and a finish line that appeared to be in a random location in the middle of nowhere. Henao looking in good form though as is JRod ahead of the Ardennes classics.
  • That finish has featured for I'd say about the last 4 or 5 years (if not more)

That's hwy they were all sprinting flat out with 1k to go as they knew the importance of going into the last bend in the lead

I'm usually skiing this week every year, so I must miss the race most years!

Like Pross says, can understand a climb followed by downhill run in that leads to a finish in a town centre. But to have a downhill run in and finish in the middle of nowhere seems to make no sense!

Some Russian youngster called Ilnor Zakarin put in a decent attack on the last climb.

Not that young. He's already had a 2 year ban in 2009.

Zaugg is conscious and on his way to hospital albeit in a neckbrace. He looked like a goner on the TV, was horrible.

They love their 25% climbs here. Kwiatek has gone on a little foray.
