Sep distanced, Debu with Vandenbergh chasing Thomas and Terpstra, at least 10" to Paolini0
-
Paolini has this. He still looks solid with 1k to go.Correlation is not causation.0
-
Come on Luca!0
-
Don't think they're going to catch him0
-
Great race, bravo Paolini"In many ways, my story was that of a raging, Christ-like figure who hauled himself off the cross, looked up at the Romans with blood in his eyes and said 'My turn, sock cookers'"

Chapeau Paolini. Chapeau. Class.
That was hilarious!Correlation is not causation.0 -
Vandenbergh chasing Terpstra. Like at the Omloop Sporza doubting whether they ride for the same team0
-
Seriously EQS have wee wee'd me right off today.
Praten is makkelijk indeed Niki.Correlation is not causation.0 -
Terpstra 2nd, Thomas 3rd, Vandenbergh 4th. Oh dear EQS.0

That win has experience written all over it. Beautiful to watch. Very, very pleased for this guy. Superb, very happy.
Last win: St 3 Giro 2013 and before that Het Volk 2013.
@friebos
Since the Kemmel, Paolini has played this group like a violin.

Thomas the strongest, Paolini the craftiest #GentWevelgemContador is the Greatest0 -
Absolute in awe of this race today.0
-
Ettixx tossers, Paolini rode away because of those two. I can't even imagine Tinkoffs face watching that.0
-
Impressive, clever Paolini.
Best race of the year? Most entertaining certainly0 -
Here comes Roelandts too0
-
-
This chap probably came into this race with no thought of the win, just to get Kristoff there. Which makes the win even more special.Contador is the Greatest0
-
Great race and brilliant win by Paolini. He was off the back several times but he never gave up and that's what you get.
EQS - they need to have a long hard look at themselves0 -
Another Ettix massive fail (and Lotto for that matter). Good to see G is learning how to force others to ride, if he'd chased Paolini today he'd be doing all the chasing next week too.0
-
Cracking ride by Paolini to take the win - only shame was that it made the last couple of km a formality rather than keeping the tension until the very end.0
-
Not sure what all the down talk to QS is. If you haven't got the legs you haven't got the legs. Just because you have two riders where the rest have one it doesn't mean you should win.Contador is the Greatest0

Chuffed to bits for Paolini. My only disappointment is that he's not wearing his sheep snood.Correlation is not causation.0

If I may channel FF for a moment, he needs to lose the skateboard helmet and dayglo, however"In many ways, my story was that of a raging, Christ-like figure who hauled himself off the cross, looked up at the Romans with blood in his eyes and said 'My turn, sock cookers'"

Lovely salute. Head and heart. Head and heart.Contador is the Greatest0

Thank goodness for that.
He grew it after the Giro win. He shaved it and won again. Surprised?!Contador is the Greatest0 -

NoNo, but you should probably use one of them to chase Paolini. They can't both win and that's the point of having numbers at the end"In many ways, my story was that of a raging, Christ-like figure who hauled himself off the cross, looked up at the Romans with blood in his eyes and said 'My turn, sock cookers'"
