Cheers, looks like it's been fairly sedate.

Just tweeted Ettixx, after they were talking about working hard at the front, asking if it meant Cav was feeling good, and they replied saying, he isn't the only rider who can win MSR. Read into it what you will.

Sky pushing the pace at the front of the main group and looking like they're splitting the peloton with some crashes behind them.

Now Sky in a 3 man break! (after 1 went down)

Right now... don't know who though
  • 2 or 3 saxos sat up against a wall, one of them looks a bit sketchy.

Who was the sky man who started that?

Sky rider fell off and took out some riders. They need to change tyre supplier for the next race.

Hmmm. Seems to have worked alright for them though - three sky off the front.

Obviously from Ferrari's playbook. Or something.

Lol, that is an interesting tactic. Now Lowe, Geraint and Swift have 200m advance.

    Must have been Thomas,
Commentators think it was Fenn, Thomas is still there

    They're saying Andy Fenn.

3 Sky riders committing here? Would be frowned upon, no? Or are they just deciding to maintain the tempo so they can take it easy on the next descent?

    Must have been Thomas,
Commentators reckon it was Fenn or maybe Norhaug.

Are Sky seriously going to try to pull this off?

Don't know how much they intended to try and get off the front right there, Fenn (or whoever) crashing when 4th wheel will have helped to create their gap.

Not sure how popular that might be.

Huge gap now. Imagine if they had Stannard there to two Swift to the finish.

Rowe pulls to bottom of Cipressa. Not so daft.

30ks, 4 riders, Rowe/Geraint/Swift about to catch them, 30 secs back, Orica and Giant lead the chase.

Sky on a suicide mission... even if they stayed award, super bike handler Geraint Thomas would still probably hit a puddle on the descent of the Poggio and fall off.
