Stevo. i've tried sending you a pm? Ignore the first as it was a cut and paste and the second is stuck in the outbox>

I'm based in Telford if Matts old fella needs a lift to collect Matts car? PM me if you need some help.

Got it, ta. Many thanks for the offer - have made the arrangements and I've had a decent nights kip so its the least I can do. On the plus side it keeps me away from the wife for a day :)

    Yours or his?
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

Both. I suspect he may not be flavour of the month with either. Good on you for sticking around to sort things out Stevo.

Using all his persuasive powers to suck a part time crudder into some mad downhilling only to have an accident and now back pedalling to rectify the situation 'cos of the mess he caused. Yeah right.

How long will matth be off work and he's got little one's to look after.

I think that's grossly unfair Piña. Matt knew what he was letting himself in for, he went into this with his eyes open. And unless Stevo poked a stick into his spokes, or spiked his Camelbak with rohypnol, he is not in the slightest responsible.
I've done stupid things myself and been badly hurt. I didn't blame the people that organised it, I didn't blame the guy that ran me over, nor did I blame the venue in spite of the woeful lack of safety provisions. I had entered into something I knew was dangerous and accepted that it was my decision to take part so it was ultimately down to me.
Get well soon Matt, look forward to hearing from you soon.

Until you mentioned the toothpaste I'd never heard of the ride.

    Looks interesting though.

Bloody liar - I got all the way from the van to the start point of the downhill track on Friday afternoon after you bailed out with alleged 'mechanical problems' :D

I post more than I cycle and fact that I've never ever cycled that far or climbed so so much in a single day I'd rather stay at home and look at pictures of Jose's face and paint them with my special man juice Cluck cluck cluck :)
