I did not ride at the weekend as I was visiting in laws. I got up early on Monday and rode to work. I was quite tired so I only did 9km. the tarmac was rough in places and smooth in others. My dynamo light came on and stayed bright for the whole ride as did the rear dynamo light.
I worked all day.
I cycled home again.
I wore cycle clothing because I find it comfortable for riding.0 -
Did my 10 mile loop. First half was against the wind, second half was with the wind which was nice. Had to walk at some roadworks. One close pass which is the usual quota for 10 miles. Beat my current average speed, which was nice.0

Had a ride today, ate two rice cakes during the ride.
One was milk chocolate, the other white chocolate coated.I'm sorry you don't believe in miracles0 -
I went out on the bike today. I could feel vibration from the road through the bike. I didn't die.0

I was riding my bike on my usual back of beyond route above Loch Ness when I saw a man holding himself up against an electric supply pole near the side of the road. As I cycled closer I realised he might be getting electrocuted as he was shaking his leg quite vigorously. I stopped and got off my bike and made my way over cautiously. I came across a spade near to him and picked it up as I thought I could hit him away from the pole with it. I asked if he was ok as I couldn't touch him in case I got electrocuted as well. He realised I was about to hit him when he yelled "NO, I've a stone inside my wellie boot, it's OK!!" Imagine my relief when I heard that. We both had a good laugh about it after, he could see I got a right fright! He thanked me all the same and I carried on my cycle route home knowing fine I'd have to put this on bike radar.com0
