My man Andriy GRIVKO up to ninth on GC. Came just outside the top 10 on the stage. Fastest man from Astana...

Good going from Stannard. Let's hope he stays upright...

Backed my man Terpstra this morning at 14-1.

A TT on a road bike is really akin to being solo in a classic.

This has sufficiently whetted my appetite. All those big classics names. Echelons. Proper tactics. Strong men.

I'm officially overexcited for the upcoming classics season.

    Good stuff.

Precisely. Cancellara will never beat Wiggins again on a TT bike.

Especially not if Fabu doesn't race Paris-Nice!

Not a bad start for a training run with my Men placed 1st and 5th, so I can hope for more in the next couple of months when the serious racing gets under way with wind and rain.

    Marcel Kittel
    Niki Terpstra
    Tom Boonen

Could Sky finally put a good innings in on the pave this year? To give wiggo some credit he's on a par with fabu which isn't that bad.

Stannard looks more impressive. Really strong TT and managing to survive at the front of the race.

I think Stannard would have surprised quite a few people in Flanders and Roubaix last year before he got injured and had to pull out. He won the Omloop let's not forget.

With a good North wind and some rain then Ian will do good in PR, provided he stays away from the front too early which is his Achilles heel.

    Survivor Rowe speaks well.
You can respect Ettixx-OPQS as a team but you can’t give them too much respect. They’re human. As a team they might be a bit stronger than we are but as individuals, they’re not. For sure, if we get a chance to take them on we’ll do everything we can.
I think it’s about taking the initiative. So if there’s a chance to split it, don’t wait for someone else to do it. We need to do it ourselves. If we can try and catch them off-guard and stick it in the gutter when they’re not there, we’ll be looking to do that.
If only they had a world class TT rider on the team that could lend these boys a helping hand.

Why do I get the impression that if Sky had a rider called Bran van der Vig as opposed to one called Bradly Wiggins that Maca would be throwing a lot less petty insults around about him

Either way, it's getting a little bit dull now...

It's a sprint stage, so that's 10km more than is necessary.

The way it's going, it looks to me more like 15kms.

    Kristoff

Mad road furniture in the last 500m!

Good effort from Blythe, OGE expecting the finish line nearly 500m earlier...

A split in the peloton after about a dozen riders, so Bodnar reduces his deficit to Terpstra to 6 seconds.

Anyone seen Kittel this season? (Excluding a criterium)
