You mean? I don't know who the other Cody is, I certainly don't see myself as great, he must be a top seller on eBay. My names not Cody on eBay or Gumtree. I've just walked 4 hours to town and back. Had a very small breakfast at 10.30am and some fish and chips at 2.00pm. Treated myself to a nice watch which cost me £40.00 which I've been wanting for a long time. Bought a 40-50mm padlock aswell for £5.00 and didn't buy any black tape or foam pad to put on sides of padlock to protect it from scratching bike frame. I used this method last time and it really worked. The padlock was hardly noticeable with black tape on it. I felt really hungry for some reason, usually I go 6 hours without food, this time it was less and I felt really unhealthy. So I stopped for a coffee in park after I had eaten. Just got home an hour ago.

I've seen some really nice jackets and cycling jerseys at All Terrains MTB shop, but they're very expensive. They are like £40 a jersey. Might take a walk there tomorrow as part of my get fit routine.

Good time to sell your bike though. Mine took 5 days on gumtree and I can your selling on there too. Get your bike sold.

I'm keeping my bike. It's not as light as I hoped it was but, it'll do for a few years. What bike of yours did you sell on Gumtree?

It fitted fine. I had no problems putting it on except couldn't find an Allen key so used something similar.

The guy at the shop said any bottle on display fits any cage on display.

I got it from all terrain cycles who are a specialist in mtb

What did you use that is 'similar' to an Allen key?

I would keep a close eye on that bottle cage: Dissimilar brands can act a bit like dissimilar metals and lead to corrosion and weakening of the frame. The last thing you want is your down tube to snap as a result of such a schoolboy error.

No it's fine honestly. It cost me £10.00 and is made of plastic, the frames bent anyway I don't know how it happened, it's either shaped like that the down tube, it's bow shaped, or it's happened recently.

I used a certain attachment and a pair of pliers which I twisted to get it to tighten as I didn't have a ratchet or anything to grip it with.

Keep the bike close the thread.

Actually, that's what I might do tomorrow. I'll ride through woods aswell. It's about 2 1/2 mile there and back so that's about 5 mile journey.

    Have you ridden today?

Not ridden today. Went for a long walk in the Brecon beacons with my family.

Climbed over 500m. Even my 5 year old managed it! You could learn a lot from him actually Cody.

Just had a Google, looks like a nice place. Can't remember where I stayed in Wales when I was little, but it was a place called Cymru in a caravan park. Then we climbed halfway up mount Snowdon and my uncles ears were popping so we had to go back down.

That's the only climbing I've ever done.

By the way I've read some great posts on here in the General forum. One guy called Jamin advised a lad called Jack 1992 on some great diet advice and apparently this guy Jamin lost 3 stone in 18 months. I'd reccommend you read the post. But he's losing more now as we speak, he's great for advice. Something I'd recommend to you if you're trying to lose a moderate amount of weight.

Lol, I use aliases on Gumtree and eBay, not Cody or whatever you've come accross. There;s thousands of Codys in Bradford, how come the one you've seen thinks it's me?

Anyway, my username is something else, nice try though.

No, not my account. I've already told you.

Anyway, bad start to the morning, parents gone out cleaning flat in town, I'm home making an omelette with veg and mackarel, a large one. Been watching some weight loss videos last night, this girl who lost 73 pounds in 1 year ate 2 meals a day and a snack in between.

Going for my walk shortly, too windy too ride.

Does anyone recommend vegan protein powders from holland and barrett?

Just got back from my walk, set off at 2pm.

Did a lil shoppin on way home. Here's what I got.

0% fat organic Yeo vanilla Yogurt small tub. £1.00

    2 handsize wholemeal baps. £0.89p

    Fruit granola oats cereal. £2.00

Just having a small chicken breast sandwich in one of the baps with Asparagus and lentils and some granola with yogurt. Going to make a spinach smoothie in an hour and have it later.

I feel good, but tired, was very windy and wet.

Eat a proper bloody diet and you won't be tired after a 2 hr stroll in to town and back.

cody: serious question. why the feck would you think we'd care about what you do in your daily life? what you buy to eat etc? we really, really couldn't give a flying fook.

another serious question, and this isn't meant in a taking the wee wee way. do you have a learning disability of some sort?

I lost a stone this january purely by riding my bike more. I kept drinking alcohol and eating meat.

    Well it depends what is a proper diet?, one way is this;

According to a blog on Google..
    http://theseasonaldiet.com/bye-bye-brea ... -meals-day

When you fast, you give your body a break from constantly digesting food. When you eat something, you may notice at first you get a little tired, that’s because your body is spending all of its energy digesting the food. When you’re constantly eating, your energy is constantly being used up, leaving you feeling drained for no good reason.

When you fast, you’re reserving that energy; and it is then re-directed to other things like: healing injuries, preventing illnesses and/or getting fit via working out… to name a few.

If you keep piling in food, your body will never be able to digest it all!

Think about when you were a kid and would get really hungry before dinner, but your parents would make you wait until dinner to have a snack – otherwise you would ruin your appetite… that doesn’t really exist anymore. We are constantly eating!

In Detox 4 Women which is a book, Natalia Rose says…

“One of the ill-advised habits we’ve culturally adopted is that of eating three meals a day. Not only is this too much matter for our intestine to break down, it overwhelms the bowel, which does not have the strength or opportunity to work as it was designed to”.

So in a way, our bodies were designed to be food deprived. Was this not the way of the wise men or the hunter ape men, you'd be a fool if you said no.

Now I don't really know if these people who run vegan and gluten free diet websites work for corporations or for themselves.

My mate rides his bike often and trains in the gym a lot. He also eats 5 small (ish) meals a day. He drinks alcohol weekly, eats junk food occasionally yet he his very slim and toned. Strange that.
You get out what you put in.
If all you do is tell a forum what you eat, yet ignore all advice and carry on with your scripture based diatribe. I can see why you get berated and ridiculed. No one cares anymore...
Your diet is poor. Your exercise non existent. Excuse after excuse for feeling too weak to cycle.
I've been there it's called laziness. Talking a good game to the world and doing feck all to change. Deciding you and 18ft men know best.
    I salute your stupidity.

genetics, hereditary, he could have kept it up from a young age, 16 onwards when ya body starts expanding.

I do listen to advice given, I just cant eat that much food. it's pathetic. id rather waste muscles and let them naturally repair and get slimmer than eat and eat, wait a year to see any results and not grow any muscles except a belly that's gotten bigger overtime.

I have absolutely no idea what that is supposed to mean!

But I'm guessing the answer is yes to the second question.
