Contador doesn't look that comfortable but then no one does.

Barguil on the front of a group that looks relatively close to red Jersey group. Good lad.

Ryder takes the stage win after catching Zaugg at 200m

Another dig from Froome, Contador glued to his wheel... or he was!

Hejsedal takes the win 200m from the line! What a finish.
  • Ryder gets a sudden boot and motors on past zaugg for the win! Good stage enjoyed that!

    Froome getting a gap.

Kirby is such a pr1ck - "so many questions about Ryder" - arse.

    Brilliant win.

Froome's tactics are exactly what an ace TTer would do if he wasn't scared of looking daft. Superb.

That is a ridiculous number of motorbikes...

Not going to be much of a gap to Froome, if any

Contador loses a few seconds on the line, J-Rod was just behind Froome. Valverde another 10-15s back I think.

Contador loses the wheel about 50m from the line.

We have a race on our hands people.

No need for Contador to dig as deep given the next couple of days. Great ride by Froome though. Exciting take for Hesjedal. That last slope seemed to last an eternity...

It didn't look like he was holding anything back.

Good stage, surprising performances by Froome and Valverde, bodes well for the race.
