Well it's not like he has to do anything other than stay on his bike today, you can forgive them for focusing on the battle for 2nd and 3rd

The bike is so new, they never had the chance to train on it.

    TVG about to pass Mollema.

Who was chuntering on yesterday about Mollema being a good TT'er?

Peraud way ahead of Valverde at the first check, around 70s.

Currently 9s between Pinot and Peraud on the course

Peraud has made a poor job of putting his number on...costing him seconds right there. #amateurs

It looks like Pinot is actually taking time out of Valverde at the moment.

    Mollema riding like Michael Phelps.

That is a terrible start for Valverde. He may have gone too deep the other day when he was unable to sprint finish.

Maybe he is stuck in a high gear.

Peraud faster than TJ at the first check.

    What a disaster.

    Peraud at 42
    TJ 47
    Konig 48
    Pinot 1.07
    At first check from Martin.

    Nice overall time for Kangert.

Pinot losing time, but keeping pace with some real TTers. Promising signs, assuming he keeps it up.

Pinot is 1:07 down at first check. Unless Valverde is doing a massive negative split it looks like he will miss out on the podium.
