    Well it's not like he has to do anything other than stay on his bike today, you can forgive them for focusing on the battle for 2nd and 3rd

    Currently 9s between Pinot and Peraud on the course

    Pinot 25s down on Peraud at 1st check. 43s up on Valverde though!

    Pinot losing time, but keeping pace with some real TTers. Promising signs, assuming he keeps it up.

    Pinot is 1:07 down at first check. Unless Valverde is doing a massive negative split it looks like he will miss out on the podium.
