well it turns out my Mum spelt the name wrong when she spoke to the insurers and having done my own telephone conversation with them just now it would appear that yes i am covered so i am not behind schedule.

so no set back.

second physio session yesterday.

Physio was very impressed, swelling has all but gone, movement is coming back, muscle is starting to rebuild slowly, and i can now put extra weight on it.

unfortunately the brace is still restricted to 30 degrees but through doing my exercises my knee now has 42 degrees of movement!

Doctors appointment monday so if you give a shit come back after that for further news.

another physio session, another milestone.

today i bent my leg to 60 degrees, and my brace is set to 60 degrees movement.

however my physio asked me if i had access to a stationary bike which of i do due to having a turbo. but not to use it yet. but soon. SOON!!!!

Well I've just started physio for tennis elbow and I'm pleased to confirm that my practitioner is proper fit. He's a burly rugby playing bloke, and well worth the £36 per session that I have to pay him to make me swear and cry for half an hour.

its not ok i think ive cracked the seat stay. the wheels are completely written off but i have MP3 protection so will get those replaced

Nice to see Spasypaddy up and walking around at a CX race yesterday, crutch-free and looking cheerful. Somehow he was managing to run both the sign-on desk and the finishing tent, and still found time to cheer me on every lap, and to stop for a chat between races :-)

I was shattered by the end of the day. Did your kids enjoy the racing as much as you did?

Yep, especially my youngest (winning seems to have that affect, especially on kids!)

I was thinking bits of that course could be interesting in the wet. Mind you, it's nice to have a few dry races to get the season off to a gentle start...

i managed 5 or 6 reverse pedals, i have to have the saddle so high due to not quite having enough flex that i cant really reach the pedals.

will do some more a bit later...
